🚨𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻, 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲: 𝗝𝗕𝗟𝗖𝗙-𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗱 𝗖𝗥𝗖𝗬 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲🚨

The JBLCF-Bacolod College Red Cross Youth (CRCY) Batch 2026 successfully completed the three-day training conducted by the Philippine Red Cross Negros Occidental–Bacolod City Chapter.

The final day of the training showcased the volunteer’s growth as they applied the knowledge and skills they had learned throughout the program. Through hands-on activities, they practiced proper bandaging, bleeding control, patient lifting and carrying, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), strengthening both their confidence and readiness to respond during emergencies.

More than learning first aid techniques, the training reminded every volunteer that service begins with being prepared. The lessons and experiences gained over the past three days have equipped them to respond with confidence, compassion, and a genuine commitment to helping others whenever the need arises.

This initiative supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, by promoting lifesaving skills and emergency preparedness; SDG 4: Quality Education, by providing practical and meaningful learning experiences; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, through the collaboration between the Philippine Red Cross and JBLCF-Bacolod in empowering future humanitarian volunteers.

Congratulations to the JBLCF-Bacolod CRCY Batch 2026 on successfully completing your training! May this training serve as the beginning of your journey as dedicated volunteers. Continue to uphold the humanitarian spirit, be ready to respond, and use the knowledge you’ve gained to make a positive impact in our school and community!

🚨𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮: 𝗝𝗕𝗟𝗖𝗙-𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗱 𝗖𝗥𝗖𝗬 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀🚨

Day 2 of the JBLCF-Bacolod College Red Cross Youth (CRCY) Volunteer Formation Course was filled with meaningful learning, teamwork, and hands-on activities. The day started with a Zumba session, followed by breakfast prepared by the kitchen crews to keep the trainees energized throughout the day.

The trainees actively participated in the Youth Volunteer Formation Course (YVFC), where they learned the importance of compassion, teamwork, humility, and non-judgment through interactive discussions and group activities. In the evening, they also received training on the proper use of triangular bandages and basic bandaging techniques for common injuries, helping them develop practical first aid skills.

As the second day came to an end, the trainees gained not only new knowledge and skills but also a deeper understanding of the humanitarian values that every Red Cross Youth volunteer upholds.

JBLCF-B CRCY Joins HUMANITREE 0.2: Cultivating Coastal Harmony🍃

The JBLCF-B College Red Cross Youth joined HUMANITREE 0.2: Cultivating Coastal Harmony together with the Community Extension Student Organization (CESO) and alumni.

The activity started with the welcoming remarks of PRC-NOBCC Administrator Ms. Rita Benita P. Mirasol, highlighting the importance of unity and collective action in protecting our environment.

The JBLCF-B CRCY extends its appreciation to all volunteers who helped make this activity possible. Through this initiative, we were able to contribute to the preservation of our coastal areas while embodying the values of Integrity & Excellence that we uphold as a Lacsonians.🫡

🚨𝗝𝗕𝗟𝗖𝗙–𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗱 𝗖𝗥𝗖𝗬 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭 RECAP 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟭𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲🚨

The first day of the JBLCF–Bacolod College Red Cross Youth Training officially commenced as aspiring volunteers began their journey toward becoming committed humanitarian leaders.

The day started with registration, followed by camp orientation and the assignment of sleeping quarters. In the evening, participants attended the Youth Volunteer Orientation Module (YVOM) facilitated by the Philippine Red Cross Negros Occidental – Bacolod City Chapter. Through interactive activities and discussions, trainees learned about the history, Fundamental Principles, mission, and responsibilities of the Philippine Red Cross while building teamwork, camaraderie, and friendships with fellow volunteers.

This meaningful training supports UNSDG 3: Good health and wellbeing through Promoting health, saving lives, and building a safer community through knowledge, preparedness, and service. And UNSDG 4: Quality Education by providing youth with valuable knowledge and essential life skills. It also reflects UNSDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through the continued collaboration between the JBLCF–Bacolod College Red Cross Youth and the Philippine Red Cross Negros Occidental – Bacolod City Chapter in empowering the next generation of humanitarian volunteers.

Registration is now ongoing for the Red Cross Youth Volunteer Formation Course, Elementary First Aid, and Basic Life Support Training. This activity supports SDG 4: Quality Education by providing life-saving knowledge and practical skills, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals by promoting collaboration and volunteerism to build safer and more resilient communities.

JBLCF-BACOLOD CRCY VOLUNTEERS ON DUTY DURING ROTC 2ND DRILL DAY

The JBLCF-B College Red Cross Youth (CRCY) officers and members once again demonstrated their commitment to service during the 2nd ROTC Drill Day held on July 4, 2026. Throughout the activity, the volunteers remained on standby to provide assistance and help ensure the safety and well-being of all MS1 cadets.

During the orientation, cadets were reminded of the importance of following the rules and regulations of the ROTC program. They were taught the proper way to render a salute and were oriented on the attendance policy, grading system, and expected conduct during training. It was emphasized that accumulating four (4) absences may result in being dropped from the course. Cadets were also informed that failure to follow instructions and ROTC regulations may lead to corresponding consequences, including referral to the Discipline Office, depending on the nature of the violation.

In line with SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, the presence of the CRCY volunteers helped promote a safe, organized, and supportive environment throughout the activity. By remaining prepared to provide first aid assistance and respond to emergencies whenever needed, they contributed to the smooth and successful conduct of the training.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all JBLCF-BACOLOD CRCY volunteers for their dedication, teamwork, and unwavering commitment to serving others. Your service continues to make a positive difference in the school community.🫡
