It’s a wrap! 🎉 The 3-day QAR 201 Seminar-Workshop was a success ✨

Three days filled with learning, collaboration, and meaningful sharing. Huge thanks to our QAR inspectors headed by Chief Chester Owen Diokno, together with Inspectors Mr. Roderick Enriquez, Mr. Archimedes Ramos, and Mr. Jann Paolo Garcia for your time, expertise, and guidance.

We proudly gathered the PICPA Negros Occidental Accountancy Student Awardees for School Year 2025–2026 — our Most Outstanding Accountancy Students and Leadership Awardees from ten (10) schools across Negros Occidental. These bright minds are not just achievers, they are future game changers in the accounting profession! 💼📊

The PICPA Negros Occidental Board of Directors and Officers were thrilled to personally meet and celebrate these amazing students, especially since we might not make it to each school’s recognition ceremonies. This night was our chance to honor them together — and it did not disappoint! 🙌

We recently conducted a Project Senior High Accounting Forum at Murcia National High School 📊✨

This initiative aims to introduce and encourage senior high students to pursue accountancy, especially as the number of CPAs continues to decline. We also hope to inspire them to take the CPALE board exam in the future.

The activity was headed by our very energetic President, Ms. Arlene M. Espiso, joined by our officers Ms. Shiela Gomez, Atty. Dennis Udani (Past President), and Ms. Ma. Flor Tapangan. Thank you, officers, for your time and dedication! 💙

During the forum, our officers shared their personal journeys and experiences as accountants to give students a glimpse of what the profession is like.

As part of our commitment, we also donated a computer set to support the school’s learning resources 💻
