“𝑮𝒐𝒅, 𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒆 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒈𝒐 𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒚.” 🥹
Maybe you’ve prayed something like that before.
And maybe you’re still waiting.

It can be difficult when we know God can change something, yet for reasons we don’t understand, He hasn’t. But an unchanged situation does not mean an absent God.

Sometimes God removes what troubles us. Other times, 𝗛𝗲 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘂𝘀 𝗮 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗺 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀.

And perhaps, while we’re waiting for the situation to change, something is changing in us too. We learn to trust more deeply, loosen our grip on what we cannot control, and discover strength we didn’t know we had.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐦𝐚𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐢𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐢𝐭. 💛

“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.”

𝗪𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗼 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴. Then sometimes we pray as if He can only do what makes sense.

We ask for what seems reasonable. We hope for what looks achievable. And when something feels impossible, we quietly lower our expectations before we ever bring it to Him. But think about that for a moment. 𝑾𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒅𝒊𝒅 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒂 𝒐𝒇 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒖𝒓𝒆 𝒐𝒇 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑮𝒐𝒅 𝒊𝒔 𝒄𝒂𝒑𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒐𝒇?

Maybe that’s why our view of God matters so much. As Melody Mason writes, “𝗜𝗳 𝘄𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗶𝘀, 𝘄𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸. 𝗪𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗹𝗼𝘁 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆.” (Daring to Ask for More, p. 27)

So bring Him the prayer you’ve been afraid to pray. The scary stuff. The dreams that feel too big. The things you have no idea how to fix. The hopes you’ve almost talked yourself out of.

Dare to ask for more, not because you know what God will do, but because you know how big your God is. 💛

“Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You.”

“𝑰 𝒅𝒊𝒅𝒏’𝒕 𝒆𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔.” 🥹

Sometimes that’s all you can say when life unfolds differently from what you imagined.
Something works out in a way we could never have planned for ourselves, and suddenly we realize 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲.

Maybe that’s what makes some blessings so special. They remind us just how little we could see from where we were standing.

So make your plans. Pray about them. Work toward them. But leave room for God to surprise you. 𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝘀𝘄𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿. 💛

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us....”

We often think faith means always having the strength to hold on.
But some days, we don’t.

And that doesn’t mean God has become distant. Scripture does not say He is only near when we are strong. It says He is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.

In the moments when our hearts feel heavy, when prayer feels difficult, and when we no longer know what to say, God does not step away. He comes near. 𝑩𝒆𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒔 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒐𝒐 𝒘𝒆𝒂𝒌 𝒕𝒐 𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒅 𝒐𝒏, 𝑯𝒊𝒔 𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒔 𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒔𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒈𝒓𝒊𝒑.

So if you’re tired, hurting, or barely holding it together, 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀.You do not have to be okay for God to be near. 💛

“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.”

𝑾𝒆 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒂 𝒗𝒐𝒊𝒄𝒆,
but it is not limited to the words we speak.

Our choices speak. Our kindness speaks.
The way we treat people speaks. Even the way we show up for someone can say more than a hundred carefully chosen words.

And maybe 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀.

Not in saying everything perfectly, but in allowing the hope we have found in 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 to become 𝒗𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒃𝒍𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒂𝒚 𝒘𝒆 𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒆.

Different people. Different stories. Different ways of serving. But one life-giving message: 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀. 💛

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:16

The future can feel intimidating when you cannot see what is coming. But not knowing does not mean you are unprepared.

Sometimes all you need is the reminder that 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐢𝐬 𝐚𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐝.

Whatever tomorrow brings, you will not arrive there alone. There will be grace for what comes, strength for what is required, and enough light for the step in front of you.

You do not need to have everything figured out today. Just keep going and trust Him anyway. 💛

Have you ever had those quiet moments when your mind gets loud?

You replay conversations, worry about things you cannot control, and wonder if your prayers will ever be answered. You smile through the day, but deep down, you are tired and just wish someone understood.

Sometimes, we forget that we can bring all of that to God. 𝐁𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐇𝐢𝐦, 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐚 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫, 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐚 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐤𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡.💛

𝐖𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐚 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞, 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞. 🙏

‎This is the God who heals the sick, causes the blind to see, and makes the lame to walk again. He is the One who mends the brokenhearted and sets the captives free.
‎
‎But His power is never far from your pain. He sees every hidden burden you bear, and He is always willing to listen to whatever you plead.
‎

𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠?

Joshua did. When he looked back on their journey, he saw battles won, prayers answered, and promises fulfilled. God had never failed them. 🙌🏻

Sometimes, we’re so focused on what’s still missing that we forget what God has already done. But before Him, our doubts don’t erase His promises. His faithfulness has never depended on our circumstances; it has always been rooted in 𝙃𝙞𝙨 𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙚𝙧. 💛

“...not one of all the good promises the Lord your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled; not one has failed.” 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐡𝐮𝐚 𝟐𝟑:𝟏𝟒

So before Him, remember what He’s already proven. The same God who was faithful yesterday will remain faithful tomorrow.

𝐀 𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥. 🫶

Before Him 2026 became unforgettable because of the people who chose to serve. Every prayer, every sacrifice, every late night, and every helping hand became part of something far greater than any one person could have built.

To every volunteer, every department, and every heart that said yes, 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌 𝒚𝒐𝒖. Your willingness became part of a story that reached more lives than you may ever know.
