Negros Indie Komiks Organization (NIKO) is a collective of artists and writers working in collaboration and primarily focusing on independent publishing of their various comic releases with no fixed schedule. The group was founded on February 2012, just before the first ever mini komikon, ManHua Komiks Festival, that was held in Bacolod City. The members debuted together, albeit under different su

bgroups that eventually gathered under the organization. The group also functions as a stepping stone for raising awareness of the comic industry in their local communities and standing as pillars of inspirations for aspiring komikeros.
