Kalipay Negrense Foundation

Kalipay Negrense Foundation Bringing joy to disadvantaged children. You can save a future, show your support and donate through: http://kalipay.org/donate/

Kalipay Negrense Foundation Inc., is a non-profit foundation working for the causes of disadvantaged children – the homeless, abandoned, neglected, malnourished, physically and sexually abused, victims of child labor and trafficking, foundlings. Kalipay hopes to break the cycle of hopelessness in the children’s lives by introducing them to education, providing shelter, health care and counseling.

The image of homeless, hopeless people who work and live on the streets is a familiar sight. Forced on the street by spirit – destroying poverty and family dysfunction – the ones who suffer the most are the children. OUR VISION
A world where children enjoy their right to a brighter tomorrow. OUR MISSION
We provide fun, healthy, loving homes and support communities where children are empowered and their needs and rights are protected. We strongly believe children have four fundamental rights:
The right to survival,
The right to develop themselves to the fullest,
The right to protection from abuse and exploitation, and
The right to grow in a fun loving environment. OUR GOALS
No child should be on the streets,
No child should be hungry,
No child should be denied education and
No child should be subjected to violence

We support all disadvantaged children regardless of their religion, gender, race or ethnicity. WHAT WE DO We work with individuals, groups and organizations to help establish homes and communities wherein the needs and rights of disadvantaged children are protected and where they are empowered and allowed to grow in a fun and loving environment.

Kalipay Young Heroes Conquer BASKOG Obstacle Course Race 2026

With hearts overflowing with pride and gratitude, we celebrate the inspiring participation of our Kalipay Young Heroes in the BASKOG Obstacle Course Race 2026, organized by James Uy, Hazel Uy and Raquel Uy through Your Calisthenics.

Our team name, Kalipay Young Heroes, represents the courage, resilience and determination of the children in our care. They are called heroes because despite the challenges they have faced at a young age, they continue to rise, dream and move forward with strength and hope. Through sports, they discover that heroes are not only found in stories but within themselves.

Twelve of our child beneficiaries proudly represented Kalipay and excelled in different categories:

✨ Kids 12–14 Category
πŸ₯‡ 1st Place – John Paul BelaΓ±o
πŸ₯ˆ 2nd Place – Danwi Dela Cruz

✨ 15–19 Category Men
πŸ₯ˆ 2nd Place – Carlo Jame CaΓ±ete
πŸ₯‰ 3rd Place – Lorinzo Villaflor

✨ 15–19 Category Female
πŸ₯‡ 1st Place – Carmela Dela Cruz
πŸ₯ˆ 2nd Place – Angelica BelaΓ±o
πŸ₯‰ 3rd Place – Mara Trongco

Every medal earned and every obstacle conquered reflects not only athletic skill, but also perseverance, discipline and the bravery to keep going no matter how hard the path may be.

Since 2024, Coaches James, Hazel, and Raquel have generously extended their expertise, time and hearts to introduce calesthenics in the Kalipay sports program. Their dedication has empowered our children to become stronger physically, mentally and emotionally. Through their mentorship, the children learn teamwork, confidence, focus and the joy of believing in themselves.

To our dear coaches, thank you for helping shape young lives through sports and for treating our children with care and encouragement. Your impact goes far beyond the race course.

To our Kalipay Young Heroes, we are so proud of each one of you. Keep running, keep rising and keep showing the world the champion spirit within you. You are all heroes already. πŸ’™

Dancing Toward Hope and Healing

With hearts full of gratitude, Kalipay warmly thanks the Garcia Sanchez School of Dance for opening its doors and hearts to seven of our children for this year’s Summer Dance Workshop. Through the kindness and generosity of our long-time Kalipay supporter and advocate, Georgette Sanchez, this beautiful opportunity became possible….giving our children a chance to learn, grow and shine through the art of dance.

For children who have walked difficult roads, experiences like this mean so much more than learning steps and routines. Dance and music have a special way of healing hearts, building confidence and bringing joy back into young lives. Through every movement, every rhythm and every smile shared in the studio, our children are discovering freedom of expression, self-worth and the happiness of simply being children.

We are especially excited that this wonderful journey will culminate in a recital next month…a moment where they can proudly showcase not only what they have learned, but also how far they have come.

To Garcia Sanchez School of Dance and to Georgette Sanchez, thank you for reminding our children that they are seen, valued and capable of beautiful things. Your love and support help turn hope into reality, one step, one song and one child at a time. 🧑

Kalipay Negrense Foundation proudly participated in the Negros PEER Action Summit 2026, with the theme β€œDigital Minds, Human Connections: Creating Safe Space through Peer Support in Modern Communities.”

Kalipay beneficiaries joined the summit, accompanied by our Social Worker and Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Coordinator, engaging with fellow advocates to strengthen safe and inclusive spaces where every voice is heard, valued, and supported both online and offline.

This initiative is aligned with one of Kalipay’s core goals: delivering holistic care that nurtures not only the physical needs of children but also their mental health, emotional well-being, and social connections. The summit emphasized the importance of peer support in modern contexts, empowering youth and professionals to respond with empathy, resilience, and informed care.

Kalipay conveys its appreciation to the organizers and partners for providing this vital platform for learning and collaboration. Together, we continue to build connections that inspire every child and reinforce the communities we serve.

Kalipay had the honor of receiving a generous donation from the Philippine Bed and Furniture Manufacturing Corporation, represented by their Human Resource and Development Head, Crisanto Capili.

As part of their Corporate Social Responsibility efforts, they donated mattresses and various pieces of furniture that will greatly enhance the comfort and well-being of the children under our care. These contributions go a long way in helping us create a safe, nurturing and dignified environment at Recovered Treasures.

During the visit, Mr. Capili was given a tour of our facility, where he learned more about Kalipay's mission, programs and daily operations. Present during the turnover were Communications Manager Annette Gatuslao, together with Communications Officer Camille Quinones and John Lorenz Monton.

"I'm really happy that this partnership pushed through," Mr. Capili said. "We at Philippine Beds continue to be committed to giving back and supporting communities that need it most."

Kalipay extends our heartfelt gratitude to the Philippine Bed and Furniture Manufacturing Corporation for their generosity and support in making a difference in the lives of our children.

Be part of our mission. Visit us at kalipay.org to learn more about how you can help.
