What a joyful reunion of hearts united by Godโ€™s faithfulness!

The Compassion Alumni Movement (CAM) Negros Fellowship, held at Royโ€™s Hotel, brought together alumni from different Compassion projects across the Negros Cluster. Present during this meaningful gathering were the CALM Batch 1 & 2 graduates, Project Alumni, Project Directors, Church Pastors, and the Compassion Korea Filming Team.

The fellowship was filled with encouragement as we listened to a powerful testimony from one of our alumni, a beautiful reminder of Godโ€™s transforming work through Compassion. We also received inspiring CAM and CPI updates, celebrating how God continues to move through the lives of Compassion alumni and communities. It was a wonderful time of fellowship, thanksgiving, and renewed commitment to continue being Christ-centered leaders who will impact our families, churches, communities, and the next generation.

One of our precious participants was overjoyed to finally meet and spend meaningful time with her loving sponsors from Australia. A new fiscal year marks another opportunity to grow in faith, character, and purpose. Our Children and Youth participants officially welcomed ๐˜๐˜ช๐˜ด๐˜ค๐˜ข๐˜ญ ๐˜ ๐˜ฆ๐˜ข๐˜ณ 2026โ€“2027 through an Orientation led by our Project Director.

The orientation served as a reminder of the program, its purpose, the responsibilities of every participant, and the importance of following the guidelines. On ๐˜š๐˜ข๐˜ต๐˜ถ๐˜ณ๐˜ฅ๐˜ข๐˜บ, our children's participants also enjoyed a ๐˜Š๐˜ฉ๐˜ถ๐˜ณ๐˜ค๐˜ฉ ๐˜›๐˜ฐ๐˜ถ๐˜ณ, where they learned how to properly care for God's house, respect church properties, and help keep the surroundings clean and welcoming. On ๐˜š๐˜ถ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฅ๐˜ข๐˜บ, our youth participants likewise gathered for their orientation, committing themselves to another year of learning, serving, and growing together.

Empowering the next generation to grow with wisdom, confidence, and purpose. ๐ŸŒฑ

Our Project Director, Jhanel Locsin, Child Development Worker, Joenalyn Catalan, and Youth Minister, Gary Ruben, have completed the Grow Up Smart (GUS) Adolescent Sexual & Reproductive Health Curriculum training in preparation for the new fiscal year.

Starting this Sunday, they will facilitate the GUS sessions for our 10โ€“14-year-old youthโ€”equipping them with age-appropriate knowledge on puberty, healthy relationships, gender values, and life skills that promote holistic growth and well-being.
