𝗖𝗞𝗜-𝗕𝗖𝗖 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗱 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲’𝘀 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Hear ye, hear ye! By order of the Headmaster, all witches, wizards, and honored guests are hereby welcomed to this extraordinary occasion!

Bacolod City College officially kicked off Housewarming Welcome 2026 on August 4, 2026, at the BCC Activity Center, setting an energetic tone for the new academic year with Harry Potter as the theme.

The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as the program began with a vibrant parade of clubs and organizations. Circle K International of Bacolod City College proudly marched, heads held high, embodying their mission. As the new chapter unfolds, they stand ready to inspire and invite all who are eager to learn, lead, and serve.

All of the clubs and organizations set up their booths around the school. Each booth was uniquely designed and offered a variety of items for sale, including food and other merchandise. Circle K International of Bacolod City College (CKI-BCC) opened the first day of club fair by presenting all of the organization's awards and achievements on the table. Aside from the Harry Potter themed booth, CKI-BCC also prepared magazines and brochures to inform the students of the organization's accomplishments and history.

In the afternoon activity, Circle K International of Bacolod City College (CKI-BCC) participated in performing and presenting the club to everyone. They delivered a fun and informative performance, attracting students in joining the organization.

Circle K International of Bacolod City College is very excited for this year's applicants and aspiring members. Once again, the organization lived up to its motto, "𝓛𝓲𝓿𝓮 𝓽𝓸 𝓢𝓮𝓻𝓿𝓮, 𝓛𝓸𝓿𝓮 𝓽𝓸 𝓢𝓮𝓻𝓿𝓮".

𝗖𝗞𝗜-𝗕𝗖𝗖 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗱 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲'𝘀 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗘𝘀𝗸𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Every successful school year begins with a community that chooses to serve.

On Tuesday, July 21, 2026, Brigada Eskwela at Bacolod City College officially opened with the theme "BCCianihan: Pagkakaisa ang Ugat ng Kaunlaran". Answering the call to serve, Circle K International of Bacolod City College joined the Brigada Eskwela effort by cleaning the school grounds, nurturing our plants, and helping create a safe, beautiful, and welcoming environment where every BCCian can grow and thrive.

The opening program started with a prayer, followed by the Lupang Hinirang, Bacolodnon Hymn, and Bacolod City College hymn.

Dr. Ma. Johanna Ann R. Bayoneta's welcome speech officially opened the program and greeted the students. She highlighted the responsibility of the officers and seniors to serve as role models for the juniors. She also emphasized the BCCians' responsibility in taking good care of the school.

It was followed by the encouraging remarks of our BAKURAN adviser, Dr. Junalyn C. Libiran, who shared her appreciation to the students for participating and complying in the BCCianihan program. She also reminded the students of the purpose of the initiative and its impact on Mother Earth.

Circle K International of Bacolod City College, alongside with other organizations, led the first day of brigada eskwela by cleaning their assigned areas inside the campus. The members collaborated, lent a hand to one another, and worked together to make the school a better place for everyone.

The members ended the first day of Brigada Eskwela with smiles and a sense of satisfaction, knowing that they had contributed to the campus's greener future. Once again, the organization lived up to its motto, "𝓛𝓲𝓿𝓮 𝓽𝓸 𝓢𝓮𝓻𝓿𝓮, 𝓛𝓸𝓿𝓮 𝓽𝓸 𝓢𝓮𝓻𝓿𝓮".

We are proud to share that Circle K International of Bacolod City College has been recognized as a Visayas finalist for the Ten Outstanding UN SDG Awards (TOUSA) 2026: Recognizing the Change makers of Tomorrow. This significant achievement shows the organization's outstanding performance and commitment to sustainable development.

The Ten Outstanding UN SDG Awards (TOUSA) is a national recognition program in the Philippines that honors youth-led organizations, non-profits, and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) councils for their outstanding contributions toward achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

To be recognized by such a program means that the organization's hard work, dedication, and positive impact on society are being acknowledged. This award serves as a reminder that every initiative, no matter how small, can contribute to creating a more sustainable and equitable future.

With this award, the Circle K International of Bacolod City College will continue to serve and make significant changes on our society.

Today, we celebrate 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗺𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗿𝗲. You have a way of making everyone feel welcome and comfortable just by being yourself, and you are someone people can always run to for 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁, 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁, and that’s one of the many things that make you so special.

𝐏𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐏𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐀𝐑𝐁𝐎𝐑 𝐃𝐀𝐘 🌳

𝐂𝐢𝐫𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝐊 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐝 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 joined the tree-planting activity organized by the Bacolod Environment and Natural Resources Office (BENRO)—a city movement for a better environment and a greener community. Together with the city alliance and the academic and non-academic organizations of Bacolod City College, we proudly took part in this meaningful initiative.

The opening remarks were led by Councilor Homer Bais and a representative from the Bacolod Fire Station, who shared inspiring messages encouraging everyone to continue supporting environmental initiatives. Dozens of seedlings were planted by the volunteers, creating a lasting impact toward a greener and healthier environment.

A tree teaches patience. It grows slowly, roots deeply, and stands tall through every storm. It reminds us that the best things take time, care, and quiet work that no one claps for.

When we plant a seed, we make a promise to the future—choosing life over convenience and legacy over likes.

One tree won’t change the world, but one person planting one tree can start a forest. 🌱

Let’s grow roots, grow hope, and grow a cooler, kinder earth—together. 💚

At the end of the program, each volunteer organization was acknowledged and received a Certificate of Participation. 🏅

Circle K International of Bacolod City College proudly joined hands with Kiwanis Club of Metro Bacolod and Kiwanis Club Buklod Bacolod for our Community Bloodletting Drive! 🤝

City Cooperative and Livelihood Development Office – Bacolod City Cooperative Development Council, together with Negros Occidental Government Employees Multi-Purpose Cooperative (NOCGEM), organized a bloodletting activity with the theme:

“𝗗𝗨𝗚𝗢 𝗠𝗢, 𝗞𝗔𝗦𝗨𝗚𝗣𝗢𝗡 𝗦𝗔𝗡𝗚 𝗞𝗔𝗕𝗨𝗛𝗜 𝗞𝗢.”

Different sectors and organizations came together to contribute meaningful help. Through everyone’s generous initiative, the event became a successful one.

United by our shared passion for service, we turned compassion into life-saving action. Every generous donor gave the most precious gift of all—hope and a second chance at life for those in need right here in our community.

『 𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗡 𝗕𝗬 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗧, 𝗟𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗘 』

The Bacolod City College Activity Center became a vibrant hub of inspiration and capability-building from June 24–25, 2026, as the Officers of BCC-Circle K International (BCC-CKI) participated in the intensive two-day Leadership Training Seminar (LTS). Guided by the profound theme, "Servant Leaders: Heart of Every Leader," the gathering aimed to equip young advocates with the mindset required to lead with compassion and purpose.

The event opened with a deeply encouraging and heartfelt message from College Administrator Dr. Ma. Johanna Ann R. Bayoneta, who set a meaningful tone for the student leaders.

The first morning highlighted insights from Ms. Angela Yatasil, LPT (BCC 2024 Alumna, THOS Finalist, and former BCC-CKI President), who discussed the essence of servant leadership, and Mr. Roderick Dela Rosa (BCC 2026 Alumna, THOS Finalist, and former BCC-CKI Service Committee Chairperson), who spoke on integrating Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into organization growth. The afternoon concluded with a collaborative CSG logo-designing workshop and organizational introductions.

As the first day progressed into the afternoon, the focus shifted toward active participation and collective identity. The student leaders engaged in a collaborative CSG logo-designing workshop, which allowed them to visually manifest their shared goals. This creative exercise was accompanied by spirited organizational introductions, a segment that fostered early camaraderie and networks among the diverse groups present.

The second day shifted focus toward practical capability-building and campus governance. OSAS Director Mr. Adnan N. Balisi and Ms. Angelica Apawan started the sessions by clarifying essential school policies. Following them, CSG Acting President for 2025–2026 Ms. Kimberly Galas and Mr. Ken Labrador provided valuable strategies for effective event planning and organization. Ms. Nikki G. Garcelan delivered a moving talk on the role of empathy in leadership at the end of the morning session.

The afternoon sessions took a deeper, more humanistic turn to balance the technical aspects of governance. Mr. Elmeer Meeynard D. Calimpos, who engaged the student leaders in interactive exercises that directly connected their organizational roles to broader community development and civic responsibility.

The seminar culminated in a lively, CSG-led team-building activity that successfully forged lasting connections across the campus and community.

As the two-day seminar drew to a close, the participants left prepared to apply their new-found insights far beyond the campus walls, translating their knowledge into genuine community action as they live out in the core creed: "𝓛𝓲𝓿𝓮 𝓽𝓸 𝓢𝓮𝓻𝓿𝓮, 𝓛𝓸𝓿𝓮 𝓽𝓸 𝓢𝓮𝓻𝓿𝓮"
