Every poster tells a story, and every essay inspires change. This month offers you the opportunity to express your vision of a united, resilient, and sustainable ASEAN through art and words, reflecting the values of cooperation, cultural diversity, innovation, and youth empowerment.

-The contest is open to all bona fide students of John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation (Bacolod), Inc.
-Only one (1) original individual essay may be submitted per participant.
-Essays must be written in English, contain 800โ1,200 words, and directly reflect the theme.
-Entries must be original, unpublished, and not previously submitted to any other competition. The use of generative AI for writing, paraphrasing, rewriting, translating, or substantially editing any part of the essay is strictly prohibited.
-Essays must be submitted in both Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) and PDF formats, together with a signed Originality Declaration.
-By submitting an entry, participants grant the institution the non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce, and display the essay for educational and promotional purposes with proper acknowledgment. Copyright remains with the author.
-Essays containing AI-generated or plagiarized content, offensive or inappropriate material, submissions that do not meet the prescribed format or word count, late entries, or previously published works will be automatically disqualified.

-Participants may use any graphic design software, provided that all artwork is created manually. The use of generative AI to create or significantly modify any design element is strictly prohibited.
