We have received and acknowledged your concerns regarding some of the departmental designs that may have been AI-generated.

We would also like to remind everyone that, as clearly stated in the official contest guidelines, that the use of Ai generated designs is prohibited and will be automatically disqualified.

Rest assured that before we officially announce the winners, we will ask the participants to submit their design materials, drafts, or other proof of the design process to verify that their entries were genuinely created by them.

We believe that submitting AI-generated designs without proper disclosure would be unfair and disrespectful to our fellow Lacsonians who poured their imagination, creativity, time, and effort into creating their designs.

As your leaders, we want to assure you that we will do our best to ensure that proper credit is given to those who truly put in the effort to create their departmental shirts. Our goal is not only to make this competition exciting and enjoyable but also to celebrate and showcase the creativity, originality, and brilliant talents of our students.

We sincerely appreciate your understanding, patience, and continued support. Let us work together to make this competition a fair, transparent, and meaningful celebration of Lacsonian creativity! 💙✨

Please be informed that there will be no Drill Day on Saturday, August 8, 2026, as it is designated as a rest day to give consideration to the ongoing immersion activities of freshmens.

All cadets/cadettes are encouraged to use this time to rest, recover, and prepare for the succeeding training activities. Regular drills will resume as scheduled.

🎨 INTRAMURALS 2026 SHIRT DESIGN CONTEST 🎨

Got a creative mind? It’s time to showcase your talent and design the official Intramurals shirt for your department!

The Supreme Student Government invites all John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation – Bacolod (JBLCF-Bacolod) students to participate in the Intramurals 2026 Shirt Design Contest. Let your creativity represent your department’s identity, unity, and competitive spirit.

📝 Contest Guidelines:

• Only officially enrolled students of JBLCF-Bacolod are allowed to participate in the contest.
• The design must be 100% original and created solely by the participant.
• The use of AI-generated artwork or designs is strictly prohibited and will result to automatic disqualification.
• Participants may use any editing or graphic design platform (such as Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or other software), provided that the final output is entirely original.
• Each participant may submit only one (1) entry.
• The design must be suitable for shirt printing and should reflect the pride, identity, and spirit of the department.
• Plagiarized, copied, or previously used designs will result in automatic disqualification.
• By submitting an entry, participants agree that the winning design may be used as the official Intramurals shirt design.

-Entries must be original, unpublished, and not previously submitted to any other competition. The use of generative AI for writing, paraphrasing, rewriting, translating, or substantially editing any part of the essay is strictly prohibited.
-Essays must be submitted in both Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) and PDF formats, together with a signed Originality Declaration.
-By submitting an entry, participants grant the institution the non-exclusive right to publish, reproduce, and display the essay for educational and promotional purposes with proper acknowledgment. Copyright remains with the author.
-Essays containing AI-generated or plagiarized content, offensive or inappropriate material, submissions that do not meet the prescribed format or word count, late entries, or previously published works will be automatically disqualified.
