𝙒𝙚𝙡𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙁𝘾𝘾𝙔 𝙁𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮!

Last August 1st, FCCY Bacolod hosted our Come and See activity to welcome our newest faces!

It was an awesome day filled with fun, fellowship, new friendships, and—of course—food 🥖 🍕! Most importantly, it gave everyone a taste of what FCCY is all about: growing deeper in faith together with God at the center.

A huge thank you to our National Steward, Jeanne Marie Yuching, and Asst. National Steward for Visayas, Yaye Cheriza, for visiting Bacolod and helping us facilitate this activity! We are so grateful for your guidance and support! 💙

We continue growing in faith together... 🙏

This year's Flores de Mayo has ended, but the journey through spiritual growth continues. Join us as we resume our Sunday sessions and continue building our Faith together, have Fun together, and make new Friends as brothers and sisters in Christ!

🗓 Mark your calendars: Our sessions resume tomorrow, June 7, 9-11 AM at the QPP Hall, Queen of Peace Parish-Redemptorist.

🌸 FLORES DE MAYO - WEEK 4 🌸

The final week of Flores de Mayo saw our first communicants going to their first Holy Confession and then finally receiving Jesus in the Holy Eucharist for the first time. The Celebration of First Holy Communion was presided over by our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Mitchel Guadalupe.

As the Flores de Mayo concluded with the culmination programs. The kids and the families were reminded that spiritual growth continues beyond the First Confession and First Communion and is not limited within the Parish grounds. The catechists will continue to teach and guide but faith is continuously cultivated in the family.

We would like to thank the families for journeying with us this Flores de Mayo. Your support and feedback are deeply appreciated. Congratulations to our First Communicants!

🌸 FLORES DE MAYO - WEEK 3 🌸

Week three is done and we are getting ready. As the first communicants approach their first Sacraments of Confession and Communion, they now fully understand how important the Holy Eucharist is and why they need to confess before receiving Jesus.

Flores de Mayo is a beautiful Filipino Catholic tradition held every May to honor the Blessed Virgin Mary, the “Queen of Flowers.” It is a time of prayer, devotion, community, and the offering of spiritual flowers. Flores de Mayo also continues to ba faithfully celebrated across all Queen of Peace Parish BEC Areas.

🌹 Mama Mary, pray for us and lead us to Jesus. 🙏

🌸 FLORES DE MAYO - WEEK 2 🌸

Week two is done and it is beginning to become more meaningful. As the parents continue to support their children throughout this month's tradition, the beginners continue to have fun learning while the first communicants are leveling up their spiritual consciousness as they prepare to receive the Sacraments of Confession and Communion.

Last Wednesday, May 13, The Feast Day of Our Lady of Fatima was celebrated. It is inspiring for us to think that kids as young as the three shepherd children in Cova da Iria can lead to thousands becoming believers in Christ. It is also through this celebration that we were all reminded why we should pray the Rosary everyday.

🌸 FLORES DE MAYO - WEEK 1 🌸

For the month of May, FCCY Bacolod is heading the Flores de Mayo at the Queen of Peace Parish, Redemptorist grounds, led by Senior Catechists Achi IC and Ahia Conrad, and Junior Catechist Anntonah from the QPP-R Catechetical Ministry. Week one is done and it has been heartwarming for us to see the smiles on the kids' faces while they participate in various activities and express their love for God and Mama Mary with enthusiasm. It has also been beautiful to see parents and grandmothers bring their children each day, support them and pray with them as they get to grow in faith together. 🙏
