𝐋𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠. 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠. 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠. ✊ ❤️‍🔥

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) successfully held the Mayors’ League at the Negros Occidental High School Gymnasium, bringing together class mayors from Grades 7–12.

The meeting was conducted in two sessions:
9:00 AM – 11:00 AM | Grades 8, 10, and 11
1:00 PM – 3:00 PM | Grades 7, 9, and 12

The meeting served as a platform to discuss students’ concerns, exchange ideas, and work together on possible solutions. Through listening, understanding, collaboration, and purposeful leadership, our student leaders continue to build a stronger and more united school community.

Leadership begins with listening. Thank you to all the class mayors for faithfully representing your respective classes and for helping shape a better Negros Occidental High School.

📣 𝙎𝙐𝙋𝙍𝙀𝙈𝙀 𝙎𝙀𝘾𝙊𝙉𝘿𝘼𝙍𝙔 𝙇𝙀𝘼𝙍𝙉𝙀𝙍 𝙂𝙊𝙑𝙀𝙍𝙉𝙈𝙀𝙉𝙏 (𝙎𝙎𝙇𝙂)

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) successfully conducted the Club Accreditation Interviews to evaluate and recognize the different student organizations and clubs of Negros Occidental High School.

The interviews provided each club and organization with the opportunity to present their mission and vision, goals, and planned activities for the School Year 2025–2026. It also allowed the panel to assess each organization’s preparedness and commitment to serving our fellow NOHSians.

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒂𝒄𝒄𝒓𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 will be announced after the evaluation process has been completed.

Heads Up, NOHSians!

The interview and deadline for the submission of application forms for the Special Projects Commissioners (SPC) and Executive Commissioners will be on July 29, 2026, from 1:30 PM - 5:00 PM, at the SSLG Office.

Applicants should bring all the required forms inside their brown envelope. Arrive on time and come prepared as punctuality and preparedness reflects your commitment.

Late applicants will not be accommodated.

In accordance with Executive Order No. 49, classes in all levels, both public and private schools in Bacolod City, are suspended today, July 24, 2026, following the recommendation of the Bacolod City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO) due to the Yellow Heavy Rainfall Warning issued by DOST–PAGASA.

Students are advised to stay indoors, prioritize their safety, and await further instructions from their respective teachers regarding classes and academic requirements.

The applications for the Special Projects Commissioner (SPC) and Executive Commissioners are now open! Take part in creating initiatives that the Supreme Secondary Learner's Government (SSLG) will implement for our fellow students.

The following positions are open for applications:

- Secretariat Commissioner
- Internal Affairs Commissioner

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗮 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲

Morning sunlight greeted the diverse student body of Negros Occidental High School (NOHS) today as everyone gathered together in front of the Main Building for the regular Flag Ceremony. Transforming a routine Monday morning assembly into an impactful campus Peace Rally, the event united all NOHSians in a shared mission to ensure every individual feels safe, respected, and valued.

Moreover, brief announcements quickly recognized the participants and winners of the recently concluded 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗲, a major highlight celebrating the 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹'𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸 𝟭𝟮𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆. Beyond the quick reading of names, this race showcased a beautiful, successful collaboration that bridged different generations of the community. Dynamic participation from both our current campus members and the dedicated alumni who walked these halls before us beautifully proved that the entire NOHS family continues to support one another in every endeavor.

Once the applause for the participants faded, NOHSians then proudly raised their colorful signs to champion the ongoing campus campaign for 𝗣𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗘, which stands for 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘆, 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗱𝗮𝘆. May we be reminded that the ultimate success for this initiative means proving that 𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗯𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗱, but a 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱, 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 to lifting up every single member of our school community.
