Facts over fear.

This is the central mission behind "HIVisible: Ask Without Fear," an educational initiative spearheaded by the University Student Government – Department of Advocacy Programs in partnership with BAGANI Community Center by Love Yourself, where participants attended a talk on Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) awareness, followed by an open forum and free HIV testing at the Museo De La Salle, July 31.

"'Exit' of HIV-infected body fluid from an individual; 'Survival' in an environment with perfect conditions; 'Sufficient' viral load to infect [others]; and having an 'Entry' point for HIV to infect the other person," explained resource speaker Benny Guzon, dispelling misconceptions on how HIV is transmitted.

Project ISIP X Bagani HIV/AIDS Ethics and Counseling Workshop. 🇵🇭🤝🇸🇬

We were honored to collaborate with the medical students from the Nanyang Technological University Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine in Singapore to dive deep into the ethics of care, counseling techniques, and stigma reduction. As Project ISIP continues its advocacy to serve the underprivileged communities of Bacolod City.
