We are now immersing ourselves in a new talk series at The Feast Bacolod, GENERATIONS: How You Were Shaped and What You Can Do About It. Last Saturday, we reflected on Talk 1, "God Is Blessing Your Generation."

One powerful message that resonated with us was "God heals our brokenness and uses where we were broken to heal others."

This truth became a meaningful guide in our Light Group sharing as we reflected on how God can use our stories, struggles, and healing to become blessings to others.

Today, we lift up our youth, children, and their families in prayer. May they experience God's goodness even in the midst of brokenness. May they walk in victory, find strength in the Lord through every challenge, and embrace His purpose for their lives. May this generation grow in faith and become a blessing to the next.

Last Saturday, our beloved children learned an inspiring lesson from the story of Gideon, lovingly facilitated by our dedicated youth servants. When God called Gideon to save Israel from their enemies, he felt afraid and unqualified. Yet God assured him, “I will be with you,” and through Gideon's faith and obedience, God brought victory to His people.

Through this story, our children were encouraged to trust God in every situation and remember that His strength can work through them, no matter how young or weak they may feel. ✨💙

Last Saturday, through Bro. Riff Guia's talk, "I Am Sent to Be a Witness," we were reminded to focus on God's love and recognize His presence amid life's challenges.

The love we receive from God gives us strength to rise above our struggles and become witnesses of His goodness. In a world that often feels dark, we are called to be the light of Christ and channels of His blessings to others.

During our Light Group sharing, we reflected on moments when we experienced God's love, grace, and faithfulness, encouraging one another through our testimonies. ❤️🙏🏻

Through His grace, we continue to grow as a community, serving with purpose and sharing His love with the children and families entrusted to our care.

May Student Spotlight ⭐️

Ryja is a 2nd year college student taking up Bachelor of Science in Office Administration and has been a He Cares sponsored student for three years.

Ryja’s journey is marked by resilience, faith, and a deep desire to build a better future for her family. Through many personal challenges and seasons of loss, she continues to persevere, holding on to hope and staying committed to her studies.

She dreams of becoming a successful businesswoman, with the hope of one day owning her own business, supporting her family, and building a life that is stable, peaceful, and full of joy. One of her biggest dreams is to one day have a home for her family and help provide them with a better and more comfortable life.

Through the sponsorship program, Ryja shares that she has been greatly helped in her daily school expenses, from allowances to school supplies, easing financial worries and allowing her to continue her education with greater focus. Last May 25, we held our post-camp, and it was filled with joy, gratitude, and God’s faithful presence in our community life!

It was a beautiful gathering of our youth, full of laughter, shared reflections, and a renewed commitment to continue living out our mission of faith, love, and service. 🙏🏻🔥

As we continued listening last Saturday to the second part of the talk, The Mess of a Loving Community, we reflected during our light group session on the qualities we love most about the He Cares Mission and The Feast communities. As we shared our hearts, we realized that these qualities are also the reason why we continue to stay, serve, and grow in the community.

Bro. Riff Guia highlighted beautiful qualities of a community: being loving, forgiving, humble, courageous in offering loving correction, and committed. By God’s grace, these are the same values that the He Cares Mission community continue to strive to live out through the years. 🙏🏻

We thank the Lord for continuously teaching and guiding us to become a loving community despite our imperfections. ✨

Feeding Party and School Supplies Distribution at Sitio Molave 📚

Last May 21, our mission team returned to Sitio Molave in La Carlota for our second Feeding Party with the children and families in the community. This day became even more special as we distributed complete sets of school supplies to the children who will be part of our Balik-Aral (Back to School) Program this school year. ✨

We praise and thank God for His continuous provision through the kindness and generosity of our mission partners and supporters who faithfully help make this possible. Seeing the joy on the children’s faces reminded us that even simple acts of love can inspire hope and encouragement. ❤️

We pray that these simple gifts will encourage them to continue studying, pursue their dreams with hope, and always remember that God has a beautiful purpose for their lives. 🙏🏻

Last May 22, 17 of our youth received the Sacrament of Confirmation together with our friends from The Feast Bacolod. 🕊️

May this sacred milestone inspire them to continue walking with Christ, serving others with love, and living as courageous witnesses of His grace. Congratulations to our newly confirmed youth! ✨💙

We also extend our heartfelt thanks to Bro. Riff Guia for his initiative and generosity in facilitating the registration process for this important sacrament, as well as for conducting an online orientation during our Tuesday Safe Space fellowship to help prepare our youth.

May God continue to bless your servant heart and dedication to the mission. 🙏🏻
