Sharing our latest sitrep from Canlaon City, Negros Oriental for Gawad Kalinga’s .

We will focus on rehabilitating 60 households, supporting around 150 families from 3 Barangays as they repair their homes.

Those who are able to help can donate through GK, and every contribution strengthens our work in bringing families back to safe and livable homes. Our support matters for these communities.

𝐒𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐆 𝐢𝐬 𝟐𝟎!

Twenty years ago, an instigator who wanted to spark his favored sport in GK communities started to sow the flames of football passion among the young of GK Tatalon. Shortly, like-minded volunteers in the GK Child and Youth Development Program took over, bearing the torch to give in to the fire burning in their hearts - that of continuously spreading the beautiful game to as many GK youth as possible. They followed their vision even when the task was gargantuan and the mission, herculean.

That dream saw fruition and many challenges, obstacles, and heartaches later, was cared for and carried on by the very beneficiaries of the football program who brought it upon themselves to keep it burning among the youth within and without the GK communities.

We are already seeing the results of those 20 years!

To all our past and present SipaG coaches, mentors, partners, parents, benefactors, school teachers, sponsors, and supporters, thank you for having been and being still part of our journey. You have enriched so many of our young people's lives and have made them realize their talents and reach their potential.

We in GK SipaG remain steadfast to do so, and we just pray and trust that as we take care of the thrust you have entrusted in us, we will remain faithful to assist our young people in striking for their goals. We are all on this together.

A powerful start to the day here at Central Mindanao University - University High School New Social Hall in Bukidnon as leaders, partners, and volunteers came together with one heart for GK’s vision and mission for 2050.🧡🇵🇭
