Local chapters of JPIA from across Negros Occidental gathered on July 13, 2026, to officially open the Accountancy Week Celebration (AWC) under the theme, โ€œ๐„๐Œ๐๐Ž๐–๐„๐‘: ๐„๐ฅ๐ž๐ฏ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐…๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐จ ๐‚๐๐€ ๐“๐จ๐ฐ๐š๐ซ๐๐ฌ ๐„๐ญ๐ก๐ข๐œ๐š๐ฅ ๐‹๐ž๐š๐๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐†๐ฅ๐จ๐›๐š๐ฅ ๐„๐ฑ๐œ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž.โ€

The opening day featured academic and non-academic competitions hosted by the Negros Occidental Confederation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (NECONFED-JPIA) at National University (NU), followed by the Opening Ceremony at Acacia Hotel. The day concluded with the announcement of the competition winners and the Oath of Leadership of the NECONFED-JPIA officers.
