Medical Mission of the Pool of Bethesda Foundation in Bacolod City: A Day of Healing and Hope

On March 30, 2025, the Pool of Bethesda Foundation of the Adventist Medical Center-Bacolod successfully carried out a medical mission in Prk. Arao, Brgy. Vista Alegre, Bacolod City, providing much-needed healthcare services to the local community. The mission was part of the foundation's ongoing efforts to offer free medical care, support, and hope to the residents.

Volunteers, including doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals of BAMC, offered free consultations, medical check-ups, and medication to residents of the area. The mission aimed to address the health needs of the community, offering relief to those who may otherwise lack access to medical services due to financial constraints or distance from healthcare facilities.

In addition to general healthcare services, the mission also focused on preventive care and health education, empowering individuals to take charge of their health and well-being. The team distributed free medicines and health supplements, ensuring that those in need could continue their treatment beyond the event.

The Pool of Bethesda Foundation’s mission reflects its core values of compassion, service, and community empowerment. Through initiatives like this, the foundation is making a significant impact in the lives of the people it serves, helping them live healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Local residents expressed their gratitude for the foundation's efforts, with many highlighting the importance of such outreach programs in improving access to essential healthcare. The success of the event was a testament to the foundation's commitment to making healthcare more accessible to all, regardless of background or financial means.

The said medical mission has served 175 patients in total.
