As we take flight into the new semester, the Commission on Audit (COA) proudly introduces a new batch of COA Commissioners, whose dedication to serving the community has helped stretch their wings to reach higher limits. Their expertise in the field ensures that the mission of COA is fulfilled with precision and accuracy.

The new commissioners are more than ready to ensure that every account, every financial record, and every drop of cent are examined, verified, and documented. Though new winds emerge, they soar high with steadiness and clarity – navigating any challenges that may come their way and guiding both treasurers and COA toward higher standards of excellence and quality service.

𝗨𝗦𝗚-𝗖𝗢𝗔 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝗱𝘀 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆

In line with its unwavering mission to uphold transparency, integrity, and accountability, the University of St. La Salle Student Government - Commission on Audit (USG-COA) held its 1st Semester General Assembly on August 8, 2026 at Professional Schools Building Room 32. The event brought together commissioners and special auditors to review COA’s mandate, audit procedures, and standard financial guidelines.

The COA Chairperson, Shany Mae A. Lareza, spearheaded the assembly and emphasized COA’s mission to keep student organizations financially accountable. She walked the auditors through core audit functions, workflow processes, and the issuance of audit memoranda, while highlighting the accurate and timely submissions from student organizations.

Vice Chairperson Martha Julian Samantha P. Jamero followed with a presentation of activities that USG-COA plans to hold this semester. The assembly also served as an avenue to welcome the twelve newly hired special auditors to the team, setting a transparency-focused tone for the upcoming semester.

Additionally, it outlines the requirement for the submission of the list of authorized signatories representing the Treasurer, the President, and the Moderator, in accordance with the provisions of the Treasurers’ Manual.
