Romans 5:8 says “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

… BECAUSE JESUS DIED FOR YOU TOO 🫶🏻

Dear Jesus,

I came to the tomb early. Not in faith. Not expecting anything. Just to grieve.

I brought spices, ready to anoint Your body. Because in my mind, that was the end of the story. You were gone. But when I got there, the stone was rolled away.

Your body wasn’t there.

I didn’t understand it. None of it made sense. I thought someone had taken You. I was crying, confused, trying to process what I was seeing when I heard a voice.

“Woman, why are you crying?”

I thought He was the gardener. Until He said my name.

“Mary.”

And in that moment, everything changed. It was You. Alive. Not just a memory. Not just a teacher we lost.

Alive.

All the things You said, they were true. Death didn’t win. The cross wasn’t the end. You weren’t finished. And maybe that means, You’re not finished with me either.

- Mary Magdalene

💬 The resurrection isn’t just proof that Jesus is alive. It’s proof that no situation is too far gone, no story too broken, no life beyond redemption. If you think it’s over, maybe Jesus is just getting started.

Dear Jesus,

I said I would never leave You.

I meant it when I said I was willing to go with You anywhere, even to prison, even to death. I really thought I was that strong.

But I wasn’t.

When people started asking if I knew You, I panicked. It was easier to protect myself than to stand with You. So I said it. “I don’t know Him.” I said it again. And again. Three times. Exactly like You said I would.

And when the rooster crowed, You looked at me. I can’t explain that moment. You didn’t say anything, but it felt like everything was exposed. Not just what I did but who I really am.

Weak. Afraid. Not as loyal as I thought.

I walked away and wept because I knew I failed You. And now I don’t know what to do. Because how do I come back from that? How do I face You again after denying I even knew You? But maybe, You already knew this would happen.

And maybe the fact that You warned me wasn’t to push me away but to show me that even at my worst, You still chose me. I don’t understand it yet. But if there’s still a place for someone like me. I want to come back.

- Peter

💬 Have you ever felt like you’ve gone too far? Peter did too. But his failure wasn’t the end of his story and yours isn’t either.
