Bacolod Traders Lions Club Service Activity
September 29, 2025 – Silay Civic Center

The Bacolod Traders Lions Club successfully held a Bloodletting Activity and Eyeglasses Distribution at the Silay Civic Center on September 29, 2025.

Present to lead the activity were President Ernie Uy, PDG Jason Tan, IPP Marlo Montelibano, and Secretary Nonoy Evangelista, together with fellow partners in service.

This undertaking reflects the continuing commitment of the Bacolod Traders Lions Club to the Lions’ mission of serving communities and empowering lives through health and humanitarian projects.

Cash Donation to Pediatric Cancer Patient
August 28, 2025

The Bacolod Traders Lions Club, led by President Ernie Uy and Club Treasurer Joram Barbasa, extended a helping hand through a cash donation to a 14 year old pediatric cancer patient last August 28, 2025.

This initiative is part of the club’s commitment to humanitarian service, providing support and assistance to children and families facing difficult health challenges. By reaching out to young, the club reaffirms its dedication to the Lions’ mission of service with compassion.

The Bacolod Traders Lions Club, together with fellow Lions Clubs under District 301-B1, Region 2, Zones A and B, successfully conducted a Medical and Community Service Mission last August 16, 2025 at Brgy. Mambulac, Silay City.

Governor’s Club Visit

A night of fellowship, friendship, and service as we welcomed our District Governor and Cabinet Officers to the Bacolod Traders Lions Club.

We shared stories, plans, and plenty of laughs over good food and reminding us once again why serving together as Lions is both meaningful and enjoyable.

The Bacolod Traders Lions Club, led by Club President Ernie Uy, actively participated in the Opening Salvo of Lions Clubs International District 301-B1 held on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at the Murcia Covered Court.

As part of our club’s commitment to service, the Traders Lions took the lead in distributing pails and grocery items to 200 recipients hereby extending support to families and individuals in need and bringing hope to the local community.

Following the successful outreach activity, members gathered for an afternoon of fellowship, strengthening bonds and celebrating the spirit of unity and camaraderie among fellow Traders Lions.

Together, WE SERVE with purpose, passion, and pride.

Rest in Peace, Doc Tony

We bid farewell to our fellow Lion, Dr. Anthony Hinolan — a Charter Member and a Past President of the Bacolod Traders Lions Club whose unwavering dedication and service have left a lasting mark in our hearts and community.

His legacy of compassion, leadership, and service will continue to inspire us all.

Thank you, Doc Tony, for a life well-lived in the spirit of Lionism.

Our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
