Spur 2 Irrigators Association (SIA) in Brgy. Minapasuk, Calatrava, Negros Occidental harvested an initial 130 kilos of tilapia from their Project LAWA at BINHI.

The harvest was joined by SIA members and the Municipal Agriculture Office of Calatrava.

The Office of the Provincial Agriculturist, DSWD Western Visayas, and continue to monitor partner beneficiaries to ensure project sustainability and livelihood support.

Brgy Prosperidad Organic Village Farmers Association (BPOVFA) successfully harvested 90 kilos of Tilapia from their Project LAWA in Brgy Prosperidad, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.

The association is striving to ensure that while water is abundant, fresh tilapia is also healthy for production and additional income for the association.
