‎ Slow Food Community Laguna participated in the 7th GLOCAL Trends of Tourism and Travel Industry of the New Millennium, an event organized by the tourism students of Laguna State Polytechnic University – Santa Cruz Campus.

The event focused on current trends in the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) industry and its integration with cultural tourism, emphasizing heritage preservation, cultural exchange, and sustainable tourism practices 🌱

More than just a local delicacy, these cookies are deeply tied to Pakil, Laguna’s devotion to Nuestra Señora de los Dolores de Turumba. Hand-shaped with care, the Birhen-Birhenan cookies are more than just cookies, they are edible prayers, heirlooms of faith passed from one generation to the next.
