After traveling all the way from Laguna, this humble Filipino cheese has made it safely to Turin and is ready to take its place on an international stage at Terra Madre Salone del Gusto 2026.

We are deeply honored and grateful to be part of this special gathering celebrating food, culture, tradition, and the people who keep them alive.

For Slow Food Community Laguna, this recognition is not simply an award. It represents the many quiet, everyday efforts of our farmers, dairy producers, magkekeso, cooks, food artisans, and community members who keep our food traditions alive.

Behind every local ingredient is a person. Behind every traditional dish is a story. And behind every community is a shared responsibility to protect what makes our heritage and culture unique.
