Rock The Vote 2013

Is a non-partisan collaborative effort organized by different
student groups in the University of St. The idea is inspired by the Rock the Vote in the United States, a group that intersects popular culture with politics, to motivate and mobilize young people to register and vote. Main proponents are the Commission on Elections-USLS, the University Student Government Executive

and Legislative Branches, the USLS Political Science Society, the Balayan, the USLS Masscom Society, and the Center for External Relations. The movement aims to educate the public about the importance of their right to vote, and how each ballot they cast plays an active role in the politics of the nation. Our efforts aim to use popular culture like music, media, and new innovative strategies to rally the youth to vote.
