Meet Franky and Franny, siblings and unwanted litters. We rescued them as stray puppies last 2023.

They used to be inseparable but eventually became really independent as both have very different personalities. Franny is a little bit shy while Franky is so friendly and outgoing.

Rescuing them and seeing them grow and thrive at the shelter make us really very happy. This is what your donations can do.

Help save and change more lives. Adopt, donate or sponsor or rescue.

Please consider sponsoring them for only ₱1,000 per month.

Because we’re also dealing with a lot of blood parasite cases, we also appeal for more donations of Bravecto. We need to secure for all hundreds of them so if you’d like to pledge for one, its ₱1153 which can be shared by 2 dogs.

Now that we have secured a chest freezer for the Bulacan babies and Echo has completed her blood transfusion, we’ll move on to the next animal in need.

Because yes, our reality is that we never run out of animals in need of help.

Oftentimes, I don’t get to post about so many of them and we use our general shelter fund to pay vet bills of other rescues but you probably understand why we are doing this now. Times are hard, donations for the general shelter needs are scarce and we’re still about to raise funds for Bravecto for hundreds of rescues which means its going to be another huge amount.

So we’re doing what we can to find more people willing to help the animals we cross paths with that need help.

This is another new rescue we accommodated, one of the many that make it to my personal inbox.

A victim of cruelty, definitely because of humans again.

She was rescued at Bgry Bata Bacolod through the help of an advocate in Bacolod. She is now already at Juan Vet, neighbors with Echo!

We’re waiting for more findings and test results but while we do, please consider sending a donation for her.

We’re naming her Matilda.

So sorry you had to experience the cruelty of people baby. 💔

Blood transfusion for Echo done just this late afternoon and she’s showing a few signs of improvement!

Please please continue to keep her in your prayers 🙏🏽

Thank you Juan Vet for facilitating Echo’s blood transfusion and for taking care of her.

And ofcourse Miles for donating blood for Echo 🙏🏽

Can we ask for a moment to pray with us for dearest Echo? She’s one of our rescues from the pound. She was pregnant when we took her in and she gave birth at the shelter.

She’s now at the vet on critical care. Blood parasite is extremely brutal. Even if we gave our rescues tick and flea treatment atleast 2 months ago, there were still so many who had so many ticks. Its been extremely stressful and we brought in so many to the vet for confinement.

We found a donor for Echo!!🙏🏽

Last night, while I was at the vet thinking about who can possibly donate for Echo, I thought about Miles.

She’s a rescue we helped with surgery March of last year. We saw her again few days ago during our kapon drive and I was so so happy to see her doing so well!

Because we are dealing with lots of blood parasites cases, there is a very slim chance we can have any of our rescues donate for Echo because most of them had blood parasite upon rescue.

Now I think this is really true, that everything happens for a reason.

I immediately thought of Miles when I was so desperate to save Echo before leaving for Manila. We dont have blood banks for animals in Bacolod and should we secure blood, it’ll cost us over ₱10,000.

Thankfully, when we messaged Echo’s humans, they immediately agreed to help!

We picked her up and brought her back to the same clinic that did her surgery last year, and she was just happy about it. She just didn’t know it but she’s helping save another rescue’s life 🥹

We bought her a bucket of Chickenjoy, her favorite and she was very happy with it!

Blood transfusion for Echo just finished. Please please pray she gets better.

God thank you for sending us, especially Echo, angels today!

Now happening — FREE KAPON event at .capitolcentral for the rescues, strays, community animals in Bacolod 🥹🤍

So so grateful to our event sponsors who generously donated to help make today’s event happen. We wouldn’t have done this without your help

Ofcourse, massive thanks to our volunteer vets:
Dr. Shinly Gemoya-Villanueva
Dr. Aaron Pabalan Jr.
Dr. Joshua Antatolio Bellezas
Dr. Crystal Mendiola

for sharing your time and expertise today.

Over 500 dogs and cats registered but we could only cater to 100 for now. We’re actually doing 102 because there were two stray cats we had to accommodate last minute.

We’re so happy we are able to give even the post op medicines for free because most of the beneficiaries are really rescuers and strayfeeders and they are so grateful because they said that could still go to buying food for the animals.

If you wish to sponsor or donate to our next kapon drive, please send us a message. Your donation really goes a long long way!🧡
