On March 27, 2026, the Colegio San Agustin – Bacolod Senior Plus Red Cross Youth Council marked a heartfelt 𝙏𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝘾𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙣𝙮, 𝘼𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙉𝙚𝙬 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙨, and 𝙁𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙬𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙋𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙮, celebration of endings, beginnings, and the legacy of service.

From the inspiring opening remarks of Sir Jerry D. Jonota Jr., to the heartfelt messages of outgoing leaders President Gabrelle Gonzales, Vice President of Internal Affairs, Michaella Thereze Tarrosa, and Vice President of External Affairs, Sophia Tan, every moment reflected gratitude, leadership, and growth. A touching video presentation, shared stories, snacks, laughter, and moments of fellowship turned the event into more than just a formal ceremony, it became a heartfelt farewell celebration honoring the outgoing officers.

The highlight of the ceremony was the formal turnover led by President Gabrielle Gonzales and Sir Jerry D Jonota Jr, followed by the acceptance speech of the new appointed President, Rihannah Mesa, a powerful reminder that leadership is passed on, but the spirit of service continues.

And as one set of leaders closes their chapter, another set of leaders rises to continue the mission, the service, and the legacy of the Red Cross Youth. We now proudly introduce the newly appointed Senior Plus Red Cross Youth Officers:

On March 13, the Senior Plus Red Cross Youth Council of Colegio San Agustin - Bacolod, blasted off to bring the spirit of service, teamwork, and fun to the 𝑨𝑼𝑹𝑬𝑼𝑺: 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑮𝒐𝒍𝒅𝒆𝒏 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒓𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝑨𝒄𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒄 𝑬𝒙𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 World Tour.

Students from participating schools stopped by the 𝑭𝒊𝒓𝒔𝒕 𝑨𝒊𝒅 𝑺𝒊𝒎𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, where they learned basic first aid and participated in interactive activities that challenged their skills and perseverance.

From promoting the values of the Red Cross Youth to sharing laughter with newfound friends, the booth became a place of learning and adventure—𝒃𝒆𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒋𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒚, 𝒚𝒐𝒖’𝒗𝒆 𝒈𝒐𝒕 𝒂 𝒇𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒅 𝒊𝒏 𝒖𝒔!🧸💉

👉 Stay calm and always be prepared for aftershocks.
👉 Do not enter damaged buildings and structures.
👉 Check your surroundings for hazards and damages.
👉 Look out for injuries—give first aid if needed and seek medical attention when necessary.
👉 Keep listening for official updates and advisories.

Preparedness and presence of mind can save lives. Always remember: safety first for you, your family, and your community.

STAY ALERT ‼️🚨

Negrosanons, as Mt. Kanlaon erupted let us remind ourselves of the following reminders what to do during a Volcanic Eruption. 💡🌋

1️⃣ Listen to a local station on a portable, battery-operated radio or television for updated emergency information and instructions.

2️⃣ Follow evacuation orders issued by authorities, and put your emergency plan into action.

3️⃣ If indoors, close all windows, doors, and dampers to keep volcanic ash from entering.

4️⃣ Put all machineries inside a garage to protect these from volcanic ash. If buildings are not available, cover machineries with large tarps.

5️⃣ Bring animals and livestock into closed shelters to protect them from breathing volcanic ash.

Remember, your safety is the top priority! 🫵
