Saturday, December 13, the Interact Club of Liceo De La Salle - Metro Bacolod kicked off its Urban Guardians project in collaboration with Eco Warriors๐ and the House of Rheims๐ฆโ๐ฅ at Brgy. Villamonte People's Hall.
The clubs worked together in gathering donations to be given to the street sweepers in an act of appreciation for their never-ending dedication in making our streets clean and safe, as well as ensuring our environment is always at its best. ๐ซ
The project kicked off with greetings, followed by a community clean-up around the area with all the volunteers participating alongside the street sweepers. While it may be a simple act, it allowed for the volunteers to connect with the street sweepers and understand the conditions they go through everyday and their commitment for their cause. ๐๐คฒ
Moving forward, the volunteers engaged with the street sweepers through games with prizes rewarded for winners as well as snacks to satisfy everyone. ๐
As the day wrapped up, the donations were given to the street sweepers as a token for their hard work and dedication, honoring their efforts for the betterment of our community. ๐ซก
