Designed to promote safety, emergency preparedness, and quick-response readiness, the simulation tested the campus evacuation procedures and safety protocols for students, faculty, and staff. The success of this campus-wide initiative was made possible through the active leadership of the CHMSU-FT Red Cross Youth (RCY), CHMSU-FT ROTC Unit, Barangay Estefania Fire Brigade and Rescue, and Bacolod City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO) Team

𝙀𝙈𝙋𝙊𝙒𝙀𝙍𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝙎𝙏𝙐𝘿𝙀𝙉𝙏 𝙇𝙀𝘼𝘿𝙀𝙍𝙎 𝙁𝙊𝙍 𝙀𝙈𝙀𝙍𝙂𝙀𝙉𝘾𝙔 𝙋𝙍𝙀𝙋𝘼𝙍𝙀𝘿𝙉𝙀𝙎𝙎 𝘼𝙉𝘿 𝙍𝙀𝙎𝙄𝙇𝙄𝙀𝙉𝘾𝙀 ⛑️❤️

In pursuit of a safer and more disaster-resilient university, the Red Cross Youth CHMSU-FT and Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO) Fortune Towne, successfully conducted a 𝙍𝙚𝙛𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚 𝙤𝙣 𝙁𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝘼𝙞𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘽𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙘 𝙇𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙎𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩 for the class mayors and class representatives of Carlos Hilado Memorial State University – Fortune Towne Campus.

From emergency preparedness to practical life-saving techniques, our student leaders stepped up to enhance awareness and sharpen their skills in disaster response. Equipping campus leaders with these vital skills ensures immediate, effective response during on-campus emergencies while fostering a culture of safety and preparedness that extends directly into our wider communities.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our Campus Director, Dr. Ruvy M. Tuble, for delivering the inspirational welcome remarks; our CHMSU-Fortune Towne DRRM Coordinator, Mr. Jethro Dagunan, for leading the orientation on training etiquette; Sir Nurse Precious Canieso and Mr. White Viloria, for generously sharing his knowledge and invaluable life-saving skills. ​

Kudos to all student leaders who attended for taking the step to protect and serve! Together, we continue to build a proactive, prepared, and resilient CHMSU community! 💪✨

And just like that, we’ve reached the final day of Foster Week 2026! Our last day was filled with meaningful conversations, new connections, teamwork, and most importantly, the joy of serving our campus community.

Guided by this year’s theme, “𝗗𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗶: 𝗽𝗮𝗴 𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗺 𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗺, 𝗽𝗮𝗴-𝗮𝗻𝗶 𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗵𝘂𝗺 𝗻𝗴𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗮𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗻,” we are reminded that every small act of kindness, every shared message, and every helping hand can plant seeds of hope for a brighter future. 🌾💚

From welcoming students and introducing the mission of the Red Cross Youth to engaging with the campus community, our volunteers gave their time, energy, and heart to make this week meaningful.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who visited our booth, supported our activities, joined our conversations, and became part of our Foster Week journey. Your presence made these four days extra special! ❤️

As Foster Week comes to an end, our service does not. We will continue to serve, care, lead, and inspire—because being a Red Cross Youth means being Always First. Always Ready. Always There. 🚑❤️

Growing hope, spreading kindness, and serving with heart.🌱❤️

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟯 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸!
Another meaningful day for the Red Cross Youth – Fortune Towne! Guided by this year’s theme, “𝗗𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗶: 𝗽𝗮𝗴 𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗺 𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗴𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗺, 𝗽𝗮𝗴-𝗮𝗻𝗶 𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗵𝘂𝗺 𝗻𝗴𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗮𝗯𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗻,” our volunteers continued to serve, connect, and share the spirit of volunteerism with the campus community.

Throughout the day, we welcomed students and visitors to our booth, introduced the Red Cross Youth and its mission, and shared the importance of first aid, preparedness, and helping others.

We are grateful to everyone who visited, participated, and took time to learn with us. Your support reminds us that even small acts of kindness can make a difference.

𝘚𝘰𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦, 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦—𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘱 𝘢𝘵 𝘢 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦! 🌱✨

𝘿𝙖𝙮 2 of Foster Week was an absolute blast for the Red Cross Youth-Fortune Towne! Guided by this year’s theme, “𝘿𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙢𝙞: 𝙥𝙖𝙜 𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙤𝙢 𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙖𝙜𝙡𝙖𝙪𝙢, 𝙥𝙖𝙜-𝙖𝙣𝙞 𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙝𝙪𝙢 𝙣𝙜𝙖 𝙥𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙖𝙗𝙪𝙩𝙤𝙣,” our team spent an amazing day serving the campus community while keeping everyone’s safety our top priority. ⛑️❤️

We loved greeting our dear freshmen and we successfully conducted our School Clinic Orientation, ensuring our students know exactly where to go for first aid, health and dental advice led by our school nurse and CRCY adviser, Sir Precious Canieso. Our volunteer medics remained on standby throughout the event to handle any medical needs and keep the campus safe.

Thank you to everyone who dropped by, registered, and spent time with us today. Together, we continue to serve, care, and grow!
