June has been declared Dengue Awareness Month through Proclamation No. 1204 since 1998 to emphasize that the prevention and control of dengue require collaborative efforts among national and local government agencies, as well as private organizations and NGOs.

The CHMSU Medical Health Services of the four campuses, in collaboration with the Social Science Guild–Talisay and CHMSU DEARS, will conduct a Dengue Awareness Symposium on June 25, 2026. This event will be a virtual live-stream telecast via Zoom from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

As the 4th Foundation Week of Carlos Hilado Memorial State University comes to a close, we carry with us a week full of shared smiles, meaningful moments, and genuine connections.

✅ Not hold a high-ranking position in any other organization

CHMSU-FT College Red Cross Youth partners with the National Service Training Program (NSTP) for First Aid training and Practical Examinations this March 7 & 14, 2026.

By mastering First Aid, these students aren't just learning technical skills; they are answering a patriotic call to be the backbone of a resilient nation. True nationalism is found in the steady hands of a youth prepared to protect their fellow citizens, proving that the strongest defense of our country begins with the will to save a life.

Our deepest thanks to the NSTP Coordinators for this vital collaboration and to the RCY volunteers who answered the call to serve. A special shout-out to our Adviser, Sir Precious Cañieso, RN, for sharing his professional expertise and guiding our students through every life-saving maneuver.

Last December 2, 2025, Carlos Hilado Memorial State University- Fortune Towne Campus held a 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐇𝐈𝐕 𝐓𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 at the AVR as part of the 𝟏𝟖-𝑫𝒂𝒚 𝑪𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒊𝒈𝒏 𝒕𝒐 𝑬𝒏𝒅 𝑽𝒊𝒐𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑨𝒈𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒕 𝑾𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏 (𝑽𝑨𝑾). This initiative reinforces the importance of awareness, protection, and accessible health services for all.

With the theme “𝑪𝑯𝑴𝒀𝑺𝒚𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒈𝒚: 𝑼𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒈𝒕𝒉, 𝑭𝒐𝒓𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑻𝒆𝒏𝒂𝒄𝒊𝒕𝒚, 𝑪𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑬𝒙𝒄𝒆𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑻𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉 𝑺𝒑𝒐𝒓𝒕𝒔, 𝑪𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑨𝒓𝒕𝒔," this year’s 𝟰-𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 was a powerhouse of competition, creativity, and pure school spirit!

And right at the heart of the action were our 𝐑𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐬—swift, sharp, and always ready to respond! 🩹🚨

From intense matches to cultural performances, they stood on guard, keeping every event safe, steady, and worry-free.

🔥🚨𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟮: 𝗦𝗞𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗦 𝗜𝗡 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡, 𝗦𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗜𝗡 𝗠𝗢𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 🔥🚨

𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟐, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 marked an action-packed culmination of our two-day training as our youth volunteers faced a full lineup of life-saving skills and high-pressure drills!

Day 2 kicked off with 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, pushing everyone to master proper CPR, rescue breathing, and scene assessment. Each compression and each step demanded focus, teamwork, and quick decision-making——𝒂 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒆 𝒕𝒆𝒔𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒍-𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆 𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒈𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒔.🫀✨

The momentum continued with 𝗘𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗶𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, where participants learned to assess injuries, control bleeding, manage fractures, and apply real-world first aid techniques with precision and confidence.⛑️

The intensity peaked during the 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀, where volunteers were thrown into fast-paced scenarios that challenged their ability to stay calm under pressure. From responding to “victims,” coordinating as a team, and executing what they learned, every moment felt real, urgent, and electrifying. 🚑💥
