How can you build inclusive communities when you continue to deny providing access to information in the language that the Deaf understand and suppressing the rights of the PWDs to decide for themselves without YOUR APPROVAL!?
When you refuse to respect the rights of the PWDs to their own information telling them "basi Kun ano matabo sa data" meaning sa listahan nga Indi man mabaligya, you do not realize that you are taking away their right to protect their own! So high and mighty and clingy YOU and yours.
When you say "The need for FSL Interpreters is NOT URGENT..." you revealed how IGNORANT, UNPROFESSIONAL AND TOXIC YOU ARE. Yet you project the same on the only one who dared expose your INCOMPETENCE.
When the Deaf are taught to express their thoughts, feelings and opinion, when they START TO QUESTION AN OPPRESSIVE, NON-INCLUSIVE SYSTEM, you kill the messenger. You should have been grateful and sat them down to talk because their time does not follow your timeline. Their concern is URGENT yet you play it down with you limited understanding.
When supposedly PWD leaders cannot even express themselves "Kay mangakig si ma'am..." You made them inutile. You have magnified their DISABILITY when I was looking for their abilities to build on.
5, even 10 days of AYUDA, what happens to the 355 days of the PWD when you leave them with nothing?
DETOXIFY YOU AND YOURS.
