Last August 22, 2026, the SCORE (Standing Committee on Research Exchange) of TAMBAL conducted a seminar entitled โ๐๐๐๐ฎ๐ง๐ค๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ญ๐ก๐ฌ: ๐ ๐๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐๐ซ ๐จ๐ง ๐๐ฏ๐ข๐๐๐ง๐๐-๐๐๐ฌ๐๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ญ๐๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐๐ซ๐โ at Barangay Tangub, Bacolod City.
This initiative was made possible through the partnership with the ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฒ ๐๐๐ง๐ ๐ฎ๐ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ข๐ฅ, whose support and collaboration helped bring this community-based health education activity to life. ๐คโค๏ธ
The seminar aimed to bring reliable, evidence-based health information closer to the community by equipping Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) with practical knowledge on hypertension prevention and management, while addressing common myths and misconceptions.
The BHWs actively participated throughout the seminar, sharing their experiences, raising thoughtful questions, and enthusiastically engaging in the discussions and interactive activities. Their willingness to learn and commitment to serving their community made the session both meaningful and engaging.
With the guidance of our resource speaker, ๐๐ซ. ๐๐๐ณ๐ข๐ ๐๐จ๐ข๐ฌ ๐๐ซ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐๐ฌ, participants explored practical approaches to preventing and managing hypertension, separating facts from misconceptions and gaining a deeper understanding of the importance of heart health.
More than just a seminar, the activity was an opportunity to turn knowledge into action, empowering BHWs to share accurate health information and contribute to healthier communities.
