One ticket can change two stories: a child’s, and your own.

For just ₱188, you’re not only sending a Negrense child to the Negros Museum for a day of wonder—you’re also getting a chance to bring home an original artwork by New York–based artist Charles Lahti.

Charles fell in love with a Negrense and has since poured his talent into supporting the Negros Museum. His work is known for its expressive lines, bold contrasts, and deeply human stories—art that feels alive on your wall and in your heart.

One Ticket. One Child Experience. One Artwork Prize.
A small act of generosity, a lifetime of impact.

was at the museum yesterday & we all had a blast trying out our hand at print making 🥰

Printmaking Workshop with Charles Lahti brought together artists, beginners, and curious minds for a full day of creativity, experimentation, and learning.

From ink to paper, each print carried a story shaped by hand, patience, and imagination. More creative moments ahead at the Negros Museum—stay tuned.

Thank you, Tanyag News and Features, for featuring the Negros Cultural Foundation, Inc. as we mark our 39th year of nurturing arts, culture, history, and heritage at The Negros Museum.

Negros Cultural Foundation, Inc. marks
39th anniversary

Lyn B. Gamboa, President of the Negros Cultural Foundation, Inc. led the celebration of the foundation’s 39th anniversary held at the Negros Museum on March 28, 2026.

She was with Tanya Lopez, NCFI Director and Charles Lahti, Visual Arts and Printmaker joined her during the press conference highlighting the celebration.

She said, “Today, we gather to celebrate the 39th anniversary of the Negros Cultural Foundation, Inc. Time truly flies — it feels like just yesterday we were celebrating our 36th year with the Pagdayaw Awards. And yet, here we are, stronger and more committed than ever.”

As I often say, I can hardly believe how far we've come. This milestone is not simply a measure of time - it is a testament to the people who continue to believe in our mission and in the work we do for the community of Negros.

It is because of your support that the arts and culture in our province have not only survived, but thrived.

In today's world, where understanding and empathy are more important than ever, instilling in our children and youth an appreciation for culture, heritage, and the arts from the very beginning is essential.

When we nurture their love for their own traditions, while also fostering respect for other cultures, we help cultivate a generation that values creativity, connection, and compassion.

As we celebrate our 39th year, we continue to cherish, preserve, and share the arts, culture, history, and heritage of Negros — building on the foundation laid by those who came before us and inspiring the generations who will carry this legacy forward.
