That’s what House Bill No. 9603, or the Smoke-Free and Vape-Free Environment Act, seeks to address. With Cong. Krisel Lagman as its Lead Author, layunin nito na gawing mas ligtas ang mga pampublikong lugar at workplaces laban sa usok ng sigarilyo at v**e emissions, lalo na ang mga lugar na madalas puntahan ng mga kabataan. 🩷

What works locally should protect everyone nationwide!
The heart of House Bill No. 9603, whose Lead Author is PLCPD Chairperson for the House of Representatives, Cong. Krisel Lagman, is a 6-point framework to protect children and the public from second-hand smoke and v**e emissions in public spaces and workplaces, especially in spaces frequented by CHILDREN.
R - Remove indoor designated smoking and va**ng areas (DSVAs) and standardize outdoor DSVAs
E - Expand smoke-free and v**e-free zones in public spaces and workplaces
L - Local health budget allocation for to***co and v**e control, including cessation programs
A - Award local government units for effective implementation of the law
T - Task force creation against smoking and va**ng
E - Enhance penalties
