Bacacay Pixie SAGA, the LGBTQ+ organization of Bacacay, extends our heartfelt gratitude to Bahaghari Center and Gayon Albay LGBT Organization Inc. for the Emergency Go Bags provided to our members - each one filled with essential grocery items, hygiene supplies, and emergency kits.

This initiative reminds us that disasters and emergencies affect everyone, but support must also reach everyone. For the LGBTQ community, visibility and inclusion in humanitarian efforts matter deeply. That is why disaster preparedness and humanitarian response must always be INCLUSIVE, COMPASSIONATE, and grounded in HUMAN RIGHTS AND EQUALITY.

Last October 26, 2024, Bacacay Pixie SAGA proudly participated in the Local Youth Development Council (LYDC) Seminar and Reorganization, alongside representatives from various youth sectors, held at the MDRRM Operation Center. This marks a historic milestone as it is the first time the LGBT youth of Bacacay has been formally included in this important council. ๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ
