LYDO UPDATE |

LYDO BAAO, Mr. John Mark B. Brigola, LPT, actively participated and served as Master of Ceremony and one of the Local Tourists Guide during the 2025 National Arts Month Celebration which was conducted by the Baao Tourism, Culture & Arts Section of LGU Baao spearheaded by TOO Angelito Amacox B. Sangcap, and under the support and supervision of Mayor Jeff Besinio and the entire Local Government Unit.

The event was participated by around eighty (80) young students from the different secondary schools in town together with their respective cultural coordinators.

The activity aim at preserving our local heritage and traditions by learning about our town's culture and history for future generations.

Moreover, studying our town's culture and history provides context for various subjects, making learning more engaging and relevant, and engaging with our town's culture and history can enrich our lives, promoting personal growth and development.

By involving the youth in tourism, history, culture, and arts preservation activities, we can ensure the continued preservation and promotion of our cultural heritage, while empowering young people to become active contributors to their communities.
