𝗣𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝗔𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗻𝗮 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗢𝗰𝗰𝘂𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗽𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝗙𝗚𝗗

On August 15, 2025, Pisay welcomed back alumna and licensed Occupational Therapist Julianna Marie Galbizo for a focus group discussion highlighting the role of innovation in occupational therapy. Through an engaging presentation, Ms. Galbizo bridged the gap between science and patient care, showcasing how scientific advances and rehabilitation practices open up new possibilities for improving personalized care and overall quality of life.

She also shed light on the realities of modern healthcare, such as rising costs and lack of user-friendly devices, emphasizing the need for innovative solutions in occupational therapy. The audience was then invited to share their own ideas for improving patients’ lives through new technologies, allowing them to view the field through the eyes of an innovator.

The event concluded with a focus group discussion, where curious scholars and faculty explored ideas, raised questions, and shared perspectives on the future of innovation in the field.

EAGLES extends its heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Julianna Marie Galbizo, OTRP, for sharing her expertise and inspiring the Pisay community to pursue innovation-driven solutions in occupational therapy and beyond. Thank you!

The gears have shifted and the EAGLES have taken flight! 🦅✈️

Enthusiasm filled the engineering lab as PSHS CVISC's Engineering Club had its first meeting last Friday. There, an overview of the club's activities for the school year was presented, and the election of club officers took place.

See you at the next meeting, EAGLES! Keep flying high!
