๐Ÿ€ SUCCESSFUL OPENING CEREMONY | SK MAURA INTER-ZONAL BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT 2026

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Maura celebrates the successful conduct of the Opening Ceremony of the SK Maura Inter-Zonal Basketball Tournament 2026. This event marks the official commencement of a tournament that aims to promote sportsmanship, discipline, camaraderie, and active youth participation through sports.

The opening ceremony served as a meaningful gathering of athletes, Barangay officials, and supporters, highlighting the shared commitment of our barangay to youth development and community engagement. Beyond formally opening the tournament, the program reflected the collective efforts of everyone who contributed to making this event possible and reaffirmed the value of sports in strengthening unity within our Barangay.

As part of the celebration, we also conducted the Best Muse Competition, recognizing the confidence, grace, and pride of each teamโ€™s representative. Congratulations to all the winners and to every muse who participated. Your elegance and sportsmanship made the opening ceremony even more memorable.

The Sangguniang Kabataan extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Barangay Council headed by Hon. Fely M. Furagganan, participating teams, coaches, Sk officials, judges and everyone who contributed their time, effort, and unwavering support in making this event a success.

As the tournament officially begins, may every game be guided by integrity, respect, and fair play. We wish all participating teams the very best as they compete with excellence, determination, and honor throughout the tournament.

All Coaches, and Team Representatives are hereby informed that the Final Meeting for the SK Maura Inter-Zonal Basketball Tournament 2026 will be held as scheduled.

๐Ÿ“… Date: July 17, 2026 (Friday)๏ฟฝ๐Ÿ•” Time: 5:00 PM๏ฟฝ๐Ÿ“ Venue: Maura Barangay Hall โ€“ 3rd Floor

Purpose of the Meeting:
โ€ข Verification of all players to determine their eligibility and qualification.
โ€ข Determination of whether the tournament will proceed with a bracketing system.
โ€ข Official picking of teams.

Attendance of all team representatives is strictly required. This meeting is essential to finalize all tournament preparations. Failure to attend may result in decisions being made without your teamโ€™s input.

๐Ÿ“ฃ POSTPONEMENT ANNOUNCEMENT

The Opening Ceremony of the SK Maura Inter-Zonal Basketball Tournament 2026, originally scheduled for July 12, 2026, has been postponed to July 18, 2026.

This decision was made due to the inclement weather, the ongoing preparation of the basketball court, and the incomplete compliance of some participating teams with the tournament requirements. As of this time, several teams have yet to submit their Official Line-up, Registration Feeโ€™s, and Cash Bond, which are mandatory for participation.

To ensure the safety of all participants, the readiness of the playing venue, and the smooth conduct of the tournament, the Organizing Committee has decided to move the opening ceremony to the new schedule.

All participating teams are reminded to submit their Official Line-up, Registration Forms, and Cash Bond on or before the deadline. Teams that fail to comply with these requirements may not be allowed to participate in the tournament.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate everyoneโ€™s understanding and cooperation.

SK Maura Inter-Zonal Basketball Tournament.

This is to remind everyone that the deadline for the submission of the official line-up, Registration fee, Cashbond and all required documents is on July 10, 2026 5 PM.

Please ensure that all requirements are complete and submitted on or before the stated deadline to avoid any inconvenience.

๐Ÿ“Œ Note: Late submissions will NOT be entertained. No extensions will be granted. Teams that fail to submit their complete requirements within the deadline may forfeit their participation in the tournament.
