| IMPL Project Philippines Conducts Social Media Campaign Workshop in Aparri, Cagayan

Aparri, Cagayan – March 15, 2025 – The IMPL Project Philippines concluded a two-day training workshop, "Social Media Workshop: Organizing a Public Campaign," held on March 13-14, 2025, at the Butterfly Garden, Centro 9, Aparri, Cagayan. The workshop focused on empowering participants to use social media for public awareness and campaign organization, with emphasis on critical issues such as the West Philippine Sea.

The training engaged members of the BUSILAC organization from Barangays Bisagu, Centro-1, Centro-9, Macanaya, and Sanja.

The IMPL Project Philippines expresses its sincere appreciation to Mr. James Karl Agpalza, Assistant Professor I at the College of Information and Computing Sciences, Cagayan State University-Aparri Campus, for his expert facilitation. His comprehensive knowledge and insights on social media strategies were essential to the workshop's success.

Furthermore, the project extends its gratitude to the Honorable Mayor Bryan Dale G. Chan and Vice-Mayor Rene Chan for their generous provision of the workshop venue. Their support was most useful in facilitating a productive and impactful training environment.

This initiative equipped participants with skills and knowledge to leverage social media platforms for the development and ex*****on of public campaigns.

PAGASA, NAGBABALA SA BANTA NG MATATAAS NA ALON DULOT NG HANGING AMIHAN

Nagbabala ang Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) sa mga maglalayag ngayong Lunes, Pebrero 24, 2025 sa mga baybayin ng Cagayan dahil sa banta ng matataas na alon dulot ng Hanging Amihan.

Sa inilabas na Gale warning ng PAGASA, umaabot sa 2.8 hanggang limang metro ang taas ng alon na delikado sa publiko lalo na ang mga may maliliit na bangka.

Posible umanong magtagal ang Gale warning hanggang sa mga susunod na araw kasabay ng bahagyang paglakas ng epekto ng Amihan.

Samantala, maulap na kalangitan na may mahihinang pag-uulan pa rin ang posibleng maranasan sa Cagayan maging ang mga kalapit na probinsiya dahil sa Amihan.

Paliwanag ng PAGASA, sa araw pa ng Huwebes asahang hihina ang Amihan at ang pagganda ng panahon sa lalawigan.

Wala namang minomonitor na anumang sama ng panahon sa loob at labas ng Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) sa susunod na tatlong araw. (Digna Bingayen)
