Hi Jesus, it’s me.
I have regrets ..
the words I wish I could take back,
the moments I rushed,
the times I chose fear over faith.

Sometimes they feel heavy, Lord,
like proof I should have known better by now.
But You remind me
that You never asked me to save myself.

You say there is no condemnation here.
That You already knew my failures
and still chose the cross.

So I bring You my regret,
not to stay there,
but to lay it down.

You make all things new,
even the chapters I wish I could erase.
You call my shame a testimony,
my broken pieces seeds of grace.

I’m still learning, Jesus.
Still trusting that Your mercy
is greater than my past.

I have regrets.
But I have You.
And somehow,

Yes, aim higher. Dream bigger. Work harder. But don’t disrespect your journey by acting like it counts for nothing until you arrive somewhere else. Gratitude is not self-satisfaction. Appreciating your progress does not cancel your ambition—it fuels it.

Pause. Breath. Acknowledge yourself. Then move forward again, clearer and stronger, carrying both hunger and gratitude in the same heart. Because the person you are becoming stands on the shoulders of the person you already are.
