On June 12, 1898, the Philippine flag was first raised, marking the birth of our nation's freedom and the enduring spirit of its people. Now, 128 years later, we honor the sacrifices of our heroes by continuing their fight -- not with weapons, but through integrity, responsibility and love for our country.

Sa gitna ng mga hamon tulad ng 𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻, 𝗸𝗮𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗻, 𝗮𝘁 𝗸𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗽𝘀𝘆𝗼𝗻, nawa’y magsilbing inspirasyon ang ating mga bayani upang patuloy tayong manindigan para sa 𝓴𝓪𝓽𝓸𝓽𝓸𝓱𝓪𝓷𝓪𝓷, 𝓴𝓪𝓽𝓪𝓻𝓾𝓷𝓰𝓪𝓷, 𝓪𝓽 𝓶𝓪𝓫𝓾𝓽𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓹𝓪𝓶𝓪𝓶𝓪𝓱𝓪𝓵𝓪.

As we open School Year 2026–2027, our school community gathered in the celebration of the Red Mass to seek God's guidance, wisdom, and blessings for the year ahead.

With grateful hearts, we thank the Lord for this new beginning and appreciate the presence of all teachers, students, parents, and stakeholders who joined in prayer and reflection.

May this school year be filled with faith, learning, service, and success for all.

𝘽𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙚𝙧 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙣𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙖 𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙨𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙡 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧!

Our First PTA Meeting served as a meaningful venue for parents and teachers to collaborate and stay informed about important educational updates. Discussions included the implementation of the Strengthened Senior High School Curriculum, the Revised K to 10 Curriculum, the provisions of DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2026, and the Child Protection Policy. These discussions aim to ensure that parents are well-informed and actively involved in supporting their children's education and well-being.

𝘛𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳, through open communication, shared responsibility, and a commitment to quality education, we can create a safe, nurturing, and productive learning environment for every learner.

As the school bells ring and new dreams take flight, we welcome another year filled with hope, exitement, and endless possibilities.

A new chapter unfolds, a new journey begins, and a fresh page awaits to be written. With eager hearts and curious minds, we step forward to learn, grow, and create memories that will last a lifetime. Students took part in engaging activities that encouraged teamwork, self-expression, and fun—from exciting challenges and trivia games to sharing their first-day feelings and capturing memorable moments through photos.

Here's to new beginnings, brighter horizons, and countless opportunities waiting just beyond the classroom door.

𝙀𝙭𝙘𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙯𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙨 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙞𝙧𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙀𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙮 𝘽𝙞𝙧𝙙 𝘽𝙪𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙨!

𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗮 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝘄𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵 and collect a special keychain souvenir. Swapped character photos will serve as clues in the 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗛𝘂𝗻𝘁, where you'll answer trivia questions and uncover exciting challenges.

𝘎𝘰𝘰𝘥𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘤𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴 — 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘶𝘬𝘢𝘯 𝘯𝘢 𝘯𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘯, 𝘉𝘶𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘴!

Another school year means early alarms, surprise recitations, deadlines, groupings, and the legendary line:
“𝗠𝗮’𝗮𝗺/𝗦𝗶𝗿, 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗮 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗼 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲.”

But beyond the stress, quizzes, and “𝘣𝘢𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘢 𝘯𝘢 𝘴𝘪 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥” moments before exams, another academic year also brings new opportunities, friendships, experiences, and memories to cherish.

𝙱𝚞𝚑𝚊𝚗𝚐 𝙽𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗𝚊𝚕 𝙷𝚒𝚐𝚑 𝚂𝚌𝚑𝚘𝚘𝚕 𝚌𝚞𝚕𝚖𝚒𝚗𝚊𝚝𝚎𝚜 𝙰𝚁𝙰𝙻 𝚜𝚞𝚖𝚖𝚎𝚛 𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚍𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚙𝚛𝚘𝚐𝚛𝚊𝚖 2026

Twenty days of learning, growth, and determination came to a meaningful close as Buhang National High School celebrated the Culmination and Closing Program of the ARAL Summer Reading Program 2026. Through the dedication and collective efforts of volunteer teachers, ARAL tutors, parents, stakeholders, and community partners, learners were provided with opportunities to strengthen their literacy and numeracy skills while building confidence and preparing for future academic success.

A special highlight of the event was the "Pedals of Hope" initiative, where selected learners received bicycles from AFFCUI. More than a means of transportation, these bicycles symbolize hope, opportunity, and the journey toward a brighter future.

Together, we proved that when a community invests in education, every learner moves one step closer to success.

Buhang National High School officially launched the Synchronized Brigada Eskwela 2026 Kick-Off Ceremony on June 1, 2026, with the theme, “Bayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa para sa Kaayusan at Kaalaman.”

The activity marked the beginning of the school's preparations for the upcoming academic year through volunteerism, cooperation, and community participation.

As one community, teachers, parents, stakeholders, volunteers, and learners joined hands in embodying the true essence of bayanihan—working together for the betterment of education and the future of every Buhangian.

Brigada at Buhang NHS: Together we clean, together we prepare!

From sweeping floors, dusting windows, scrubbing desks, to tidying up every corner and surrounding area — every effort makes a big difference. Our school becomes cleaner, fresher, and safer because of everyone’s helping hands. We’re making every space bright and ready for new lessons, friendships, and wonderful memories!
