Join us in celebrating Evan’s 18th birthday today! 🥳

💬Spirit Check: Still worrying about future?

Stop with those "what if's..." because in Matthew 6:34, Jesus tells us, “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.”

This verse is a powerful reminder to focus on the present moment and trust God with the future. Each day comes with its own challenges but with God’s strength and guidance, we can overcome them. We can find peace in the midst of uncertainty.

So pips, stop worrying, thinking what will happen for the future or tomorrow because God has it already in His hands. We'll just wait and let God do his job in our life.

Stop worrying and what lies ahead is from God's grace!🤍🍀

“𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘁, 𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱, 𝗼𝗿 𝘂𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗼 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁?”
In those moments, it’s easy to think we’re alone—but the truth is, just like with Jacob, God never leaves our side.

Scripture:
"Then come, let us go up to Bethel, where I will build an altar to God, who answered me in the day of my distress and who has been with me wherever I have gone." —𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝟯𝟱:𝟯

Takeaways:
There are seasons in my life when I feel lost, tired, and overwhelmed. Like Jacob, I’ve had days when I didn’t know what to do or where to go. But in those moments of distress, I realized one powerful truth, God never left me. He stayed with me, silently guiding me, comforting me, and waiting for me to call on Him.

This verse reminds me to always run to Him, not just when I’m struggling, but also when I’m at peace. He deserves my worship, my trust, and my full heart. Just like Jacob, who built an altar to remember God's faithfulness, I want to make my life an altar to continually give God praises for everything He has done. His presence is my constant reminder that I am not alone.

There are days when your strength feels gone—when the weight of life is just too much, and you wonder if you’ll ever feel “yourself” again. But the beauty of this verse from Isaiah is that it doesn’t ask you to be strong on your own. It says your strength is renewed when you place your hope in the Lord.

That means it’s okay if you’re tired. It’s okay if you don’t have all the answers. God isn’t asking for perfection, He’s asking for trust. When we put our hope in Him, He meets us with supernatural strength. Not just enough to get by, but enough to soar. Enough to run and not grow weary. Enough to walk forward, step by step, even when life feels like a desert.

You’re not walking alone. You’re not forgotten. God sees you, strengthens you, and walks with you every step of the way. So breathe. Rest. Hope again. He will carry you, and when the time is right, He will cause you to rise.

💛 You were never meant to do this alone. Let Him be your strength today.

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘂𝗽 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗱𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆?

Scripture:
[23] Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.
[24] For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it.
—𝗟𝘂𝗸𝗲 𝟵:𝟮𝟯-𝟮𝟰

Observation:
– Natutunan ko sa verses na ito na talagang minsan, mahirap sumunod kay Lord at talagang it takes so much sacrifices and discipline to obey him. Just like us Christians, sometimes nahihirapan din talaga tayo disiplinahin ang ating mga sarili sa ating daily prayer at pagbabasa ng word of God. May mga oras minsan na bigla nalang tayong tinatamad at inaantok, lalo na kapag nagbabasa tayo, madami ring distractions.

But we need to ask God for more strength and obedience para masunod pa rin natin siya sa lahat ng oras. Narealize ko na hindi talaga madaling maging isang Kristiyano, pero kailangan nating magpatuloy sa ating pananampalataya sa Kanya. Aim for progress not perfection, because lahat ng effort at sacrifices natin ay hindi masasayang, and it will be all worth it at the end.

Application:
– Sa lahat ng aking mga natutunan, mas lalo ko pang ita-try yung best ko when it comes to following and serving the Lord through my ministry at sa aking daily Christian living. Mas ita-try ko din idiscipline yung sarili ko sa ating daily devotion, sa pagbabasa natin ng word of God at daily prayer.

I will also ask God na bigyan tayong mga Kristiyano, especially sa ating mga youth, ng more strength sa ating buhay pananampalataya. I will ask din for more discipline at growth sa bawat isa upang maging isang ganap at deeply rooted na Kristiyano sa ating Panginoon.

The LPA is already affecting different parts of the country — bringing heavy rains, rising waters, disruptions, and uncertainty for many.

Yet while many of us are safe and dry in our homes, others are still struggling. Braving the rain with no roof, facing flooded streets, worrying about tomorrow’s meal or lost income.

We may not always have the means to help, but we always have the power to pray. ARISE fam, let’s join our hearts in prayer, not just for our own safety, but for those most vulnerable:

🙏🏼 Families in flooded or high-risk areas
🙏🏼 Those without homes or steady shelter
🙏🏼 Animals exposed to the cold and rain
🙏🏼 Daily wage workers whose jobs are paused
🙏🏼 Entire communities facing blackouts, delays, and dangers

There is a power in prayer. Not because of the words we say, but because of the God who hears. It may not always change our situation instantly, but it helps us stand in the gap for them. We speak hope where fear is rising. We ask for provision where there is lack. We lift burdens that others may be too tired to carry on their own. Prayer connects our hearts with God’s compassion and with those who need it most.

⭐️ And in all this, may we never forget:
God is still in control. Not just over the storm clouds above us, but over the silent battles within us.

Maybe for some, the storm isn’t the rain — it’s anxiety.
Maybe it’s not the flood — but the pressure, the fear, the uncertainty.
Maybe it’s not lost shelter — but lost strength, lost peace, or lost hope.

Whatever your storm looks like today, know this: God sees you. He hears the cries you can’t even speak. And He is near, greater than the storm, and stronger than the struggle. 🌧️✝️

📖 “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you… For I am the Lord your God.” – Isaiah 43:2-3

💡 May we be reminded: storms are temporary, but God’s faithfulness is forever. Let faith rise, compassion grow, and prayers overflow.

📌 Stay alert. Stay safe. And above all, stay anchored in Him.

𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗔𝗜𝗡 𝗜𝗡 𝗠𝗘 🫂

Have you ever felt like you’re doing your best to hold it all together, but deep inside, you’re slowly falling apart? You keep pushing, you keep going — but you’re tired, empty, and drained?

Maybe it’s because you’ve been running on your own strength. Nakalimutan mong kumapit at alalahanin na may Diyos kang kasama.

Jesus said, “𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗲.”
Not to run ahead, not to fix it all, not to figure it out on your own.
But to REMAIN.

Kapatid, kapag hiwalay tayo sa Kanya, para tayong sanga na pinutol sa puno — walang lakas, walang buhay, walang bunga.
But when we stay connected to Him:
🌱 May peace kahit pagod.
🌱 May comfort kahit umiiyak.
🌱 May pag-asa kahit wala pang sagot.

“𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗱.”
— 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘄 𝟮𝟰:𝟭𝟯

So It’s not the strongest. It’s not the most talented.
It’s the one who stayed. The one who 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗺 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗱.

Maybe you’re tired. Maybe you feel na anlayo layo mo na sa Diyos.
But God? He never left.
Baka kasi napagod ka na kumapit at tuluyang lumayo.

But hey, that’s understandable!
Because God’s not asking you to be perfect. He’s just asking you to stay. To remain.
Even when you don’t understand or .. even when you feel unworthy and full of doubts.

Because the truth is:
You are more than a struggler. You are a 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗿 — not because you have it all figured out, but because 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂.

So if you feel like giving up today — don’t.
🫂 Stay in Him.
🫂 Remain in Him.
🫂 Rest in Him.

You are not alone, kapatid. You are not forgotten.
Because you are 𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗹𝘆 and 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱.

And when the time is right, you’ll see.
All this waiting and all this trusting will bear so much 𝗳𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁.
In God’s perfect time, this staying will bear fruit.
Because when you remain in Jesus, 𝗛𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂.
And that clearly changes everything. ✨

So knowing this truth right now, what will you do?
Sa gitna ng pagod, gulo o katahimikan, pipiliin mo pa rin bang kumapit?
Pipiliin mo pa rin bang maniwala, kahit na hindi mo pa makita?

The choice has always been yours. ^___^

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗳 𝗶𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗮 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁?

Scripture: Titus 1
Kailangang matatag siyang nananalig sa mga tunay na aral na natutunan niya, upang ito'y maituro naman niya sa iba at maipakita ang kamalian ng mga sumasalungat dito.
—Titus 1:9

Observation:
– Sinabi ni Paul kay Titus, na dapat may magandang ugali ang mga leaders sa church. Pero hindi lang ito para sa kanila—tayo rin, bilang mga kristiyano, ay tinawag para mamuhay nang tama. Hindi lang dapat ito makikita sa ating pagsasalita, kundi dapat makita rin ito sa ating buhay—ang pagiging disiplinado at pagiging tapat sa Diyos.

Application
– Na-realize ko rito na mas mahalaga pala character kaysa sa talents na meron tayo. Pwede kang magaling magsalita, pero kung hindi naman maganda ugali mo, hindi rin ‘yun magiging effective sa ibang tao. Kaya gusto kong mas i-work on yung attitude ko. Lalo na kung Christian ka—people are watching. Kahit hindi ka leader, may influence ka pa rin.

Gusto ko rin matutong mag-share ng Word of God. Hindi naman kailangan super preacher ka—kahit simpleng sharing lang sa kaibigan, or sa mga taong malalapit sa’yo. Pero para magawa ko 'yun, kailangan ko munang punuin ang sarili ko ng Salita ng Diyos. Kahit short Bible reading lang per day, basta consistent. Alam kong hindi madali. Minsan tinatamad ako, minsan hindi ko agad naiintindihan. Pero okay lang, progress not perfection. Alam ko na habang ginagawa ko yung part ko, si Lord gagabay at tutulong sa akin.
