IP-LEAD Foundation, Inc. extends its heartfelt gratitude to Tuklas Katutubo – Malungon Chapter, our valued partners, donors, volunteers, local government units, and all supporters for the successful implementation of the First Wave of Bayanihan para sa Sarangani. Through our shared commitment and collective action, we were able to deliver much-needed humanitarian assistance to Indigenous Cultural Communities and other earthquake-affected families in Sarangani Province. This achievement reflects the power of partnership and our shared commitment to serving communities with compassion, dignity, and hope.

The first wave of relief operations successfully reached some of the hardest-hit communities, including Sapu Masla in Malapatan, Sitio Buli in Barangay Ilaya, Glan, and Sitio Datal Bulol in Barangay Baliton, Glan. Together, we distributed 350 food packs, 55 hygiene kits, and 3,600 liters of potable drinking water, providing immediate relief to families facing the challenges brought about by the devastating 7.8-magnitude earthquake.

This humanitarian mission would not have been possible without the generosity and trust of our partners and donors. We sincerely thank the Office of Senator Bam Aquino, Aligado Foundation, Philippine Dental Association, Barangay Sudapin Council, TRICAP, Vice Mayor Chermaine L. Garcia-Sibug and the people of Morong, Bataan, our friends from Atlanta, Denmark, and Hawaii, Marca Leon, and the many individual donors who chose to remain anonymous. Your kindness reached communities that needed it most and brought comfort and hope to hundreds of affected families.

We also commend the exceptional leadership of Tuklas Katutubo – Malungon Chapter, led by Renny Boy Takyawan, together with Tuklas Katutubo – Baguio, Tuklas Katutubo – Sudapin, and all Tuklas Katutubo volunteers whose dedication and selfless service ensured the successful planning, coordination, and distribution of relief assistance.

Our heartfelt appreciation also goes to Rebecca G. Sanday for generously opening her home as the operations headquarters, to our local government partners, and to every volunteer who gave their time, strength, and compassion to make this mission a success.

At IP-LEAD Foundation, Inc., we believe that the spirit of bayanihan is most powerful when people come together with one purpose: to uplift communities in times of need. This successful collaboration demonstrates what can be achieved through genuine partnerships built on trust, compassion, and a shared vision of service.

While the first wave has been successfully completed, our work does not end here. Recovery is a continuing journey, and we remain committed to working hand in hand with our partners to provide sustained support for Indigenous Cultural Communities and other vulnerable families as they rebuild their lives.

To every donor, volunteer, partner, and supporter, thank you for proving that even the smallest act of generosity can create a lasting impact. Together, we are not only delivering relief but also restoring hope, strengthening resilience, and reaffirming that no community should ever face adversity alone.

Maraming salamat. Padayon, Sarangani. Laban, Sarangani!

CULTURAL COMMUNITIES WEEK 2026 | July 6–10, 2026

Katutubo. Kasaysayan at Kaunlaran.

This Cultural Communities Week, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and rich heritage of our Indigenous Cultural Communities and Indigenous Peoples.

For generations, our Indigenous communities have protected our ancestral lands, preserved our traditions, and passed on knowledge that continues to shape who we are as a nation. Their stories, languages, arts, and way of life are treasures that deserve to be celebrated, respected, and passed on to future generations.

At the IP-LEAD Foundation, we believe that honoring our heritage also means creating opportunities for Indigenous communities to thrive. Through education, sustainable livelihoods, leadership development, and meaningful partnerships, we are committed to working hand in hand with Indigenous Peoples in building stronger and more empowered communities.

As we celebrate Cultural Communities Week 2026, we invite everyone to learn, appreciate, and stand with our Indigenous brothers and sisters. Let us continue to protect our shared heritage while creating a future where every Indigenous child, family, and community has the opportunity to grow with dignity and hope.

Together, let us celebrate our diversity because our Indigenous Peoples are not just part of our history. They are an important part of our present and an essential part of our future.

Katutubo. Kasaysayan at Kaunlaran.

Empowering Indigenous Communities. Preserving Heritage. Building Futures.
