Today, the WCC-Antipolo Community Extension and Services Office (CESO) joins the global community in celebrating Earth Day 2026 under the theme: "Our Power, Our Planet."โšก๏ธThis day serves as a vital reminder that the energy we choose to harness and the actions we take today define the health of our common home tomorrow.

True power lies in sustainability. At WCC-Antipolo, we believe that progress must be synonymous with preservation. ๐—œ๐—ก ๐—ฃ๐—›๐—ข๐—ง๐—ข๐—ฆ | A Successful Phase 1 Activity for a Digitally Safe Community! ๐Ÿ“ข

The Phase 1 Activity of Project SAFE: From Awareness to Actionโ€”Building Safe and Smart Digital Communities was successfully conducted at World Citi Colleges Antipolo Campus.

This activity was attended by participating senior citizens, primarily from Sitio Knights of Columbus (KOC), Barangay San Roque, Antipolo City, who actively engaged in learning essential skills for todayโ€™s digital world.

Firstly, the program started with a fun and energizing Zumba activity led by student volunteers from the College of Communication Arts (CCA) and the College of Information Technology (CIT), creating a lively and welcoming environment for all participants.

A warm Welcome Remarks was delivered by Mr. John Carlo Hamelon, followed by the Rationale of the Activity presented by Prof. Allane Orendez, CCA Faculty Extensionist and Course Specialist, who also introduced the speakers.

The participating senior citizens gained valuable knowledge on Digital Safety and Literacy through the session of Mr. Aldei Rodriguez, empowering them to safely and responsibly navigate the online space. This was followed by a Digital Advocacy Workshop facilitated by Prof. Eleisa Legaspi, where participants were guided in promoting safe digital practices within their community.

Also, the activity was also graced and activiely supported by Prof. Clarence C. Robas, MSIT, Program Head of the College of Information Technology and one of the proponents of the extension program, highlighting the strong collaboration behind this initiative.

This meaningful activity was made possible through the support and dedication of student volunteers from CESO, CCA, and CIT.

This initiative, led by Prof. Katherine Cendaรฑa, MBA (Program Head, CCA) and Prof. Clarence C. From Safe Connections to Tech-Ready Citizens: Seminar Workshop (Phase 1)

Currently taking place at WCC Antipolo, senior citizens from Sitio Knights of Columbus, Brgy. San Roque, Antipolo City are actively engaged in this meaningful seminar workshop aimed at empowering them in todayโ€™s digital world. ๐Ÿ’ปโœจ

Participants are learning about digital literacy, online safety, and advocacy, through discussions led by Mr. Aldei Rodriguez and Prof. Eleisa Legaspi.

The session is being facilitated by dedicated student volunteers from CCA, CIT, and CESO, who are guiding and assisting the participants throughout the activity. ๐Ÿ™Œ

๐ŸŽ‰ Happening Now: CBA Week 2026 Outreach Activity ๐ŸŽ‰

Today, March 24, 2026, the College of Business and Accountancy (CBA) of WCC Antipolo is currently conducting its outreach activityโ€”one of the major highlights of this yearโ€™s CBA Week 2026 celebration.

Led by Dean Melanie C. Convento, together with the passionate CBA student officers from JMA and JPIA, and with the support of the WCC Antipolo staff, this meaningful initiative is currently bringing smiles and warmth to the elderly residents of Kanlungan ni Maria. ๐Ÿ’

Through simple gifts and genuine acts of care, the College of Business and Accountancy aims to spread joy and make a differenceโ€”one heart at a time.

Project SAFE Kick-Off Meeting ๐Ÿ’™

Last February 26, 2026, the College of Communication Arts, the College of Information Technology, and the Community Extension and Services Office held a Kick-Off Meeting for the Extension Program, Project SAFE.

Prof. Katherine Cendaรฑa, MBA, and Prof. Clarence Robas, MSIT, Program heads from the WCC College of Communication Arts and College of Information Technology, respectively, were present, including Prof. Orendez - a faculty of CCA, who will take a significant part in the first activity of the extension program.

Meanwhile, student representatives from CCA and CIT, along with CESO Volunteers Club President Ms. Michelle J. Morales, also attended the meeting.
