PAG-ASA YOUTH ASSOCIATION PHILIPPINES - DALIG: PUBLIC STATEMENT
ON THE ISSUES DURING THE 51st PYAP FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY
Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines is a nationally recognized, barangay-based organization for out-of-school youth (OSY) aged 15 to 30 in the Philippines, supported by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), and we, the PYAP-DALIG is under by the said organization.
During the PYAP 51st founding anniversary, our representatives in some categories of competition experienced issues, especially in our dancers for hataw kabataan, we have heard your concerns and we are taking responsibilities about this.
The issues are not related to the Sangguniang Kabataan - Barangay Dalig, as the issue solely concerns our organization.
We sincerely apologize for the mistakes committed by the officer. We want you to know that we understand where you are coming from, and we are also asking considerations about the lapses that our organization showed in the said event.
We are making sure that this will not happen again. Thank you!
