Rotary District 3800 officially launched its Kick-Off Project for Rotary Year 2026–2027 under the leadership of District Governor-Elect (DGE) Celso C. Montalla, bringing together Presidents-Elect from across the district in support of Rotary International’s vision to Create Lasting Impact through sustainable and transformative service initiatives. The activity was held on May 30, 2026, at Barangay Sto. Niño, Tanay, Rizal.
Representing the Rotary Club of Greater Marikina Valley, President-Elect Sheryl Rosales Penaroyo participated in the event, reaffirming the club’s commitment to meaningful community service and impactful programs that address real community needs.
The kick-off project showcased Rotary’s dedication to the Seven Areas of Focus:
1. Brigada Eskwela (Basic Education and Literacy)
2.Kabuhayang Turmeric para sa Pamayanan (Community Economic Development)
3. Alagang Kalusugan, Malusog na Pamayanan (Disease Prevention)
4. Yakap Kalusugan PUNO ng Buhay, Kalinisan Kontra Dengue (Disease Prevention and Environmental Health)
5. Alaga at Kalinga para sa Nanay at Bata (Maternal and Child Care)
6. Daloy ng Pag-asa, Malinis na Kamay, Malusog na Buhay (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene)
7. Bantay Kapayapaan (Peace Building and Conflict Resolution)
These High Impact Projects reflect Rotary’s commitment to delivering sustainable, measurable, and lasting solutions that strengthen communities and improve lives through Service Above Self.
