Clarification on the Livestream of OLPSβ Blue Marching Condors Performance
We wish to extend our appreciation to the whole OLPSian-Paulinian community, the public, the parents, and all the supporters of the OLPSβ Blue Marching Condors.
We acknowledge the concerns raised following the interruptions that occurred during the live performance at the Antipolo Christmas Fiesta Drum and Lyre Competition on December 7, 2025, at the Ynares Center.
After a careful and immediate review of the incident, we wish to clarify that the disruptions resulted from unexpected technical difficulties beyond the control of both the school and the event organizers. These matters were purely operational in nature and in no way deliberate.
Further, we emphasize that the Antipolo Local Government Unit had no involvement in the interruptions, nor in the perceived censorship of the performance.
We know that these unforeseen disruptions can create confusion, disappointment, and undue speculation. In response, the OLPS administration, together with the technical team of the event, is coordinating to ensure that these matters are fully addressed and that preventive measures are strengthened for future engagements.
As an institution rooted in our philosophy, ideals, and values, we reaffirm our commitment to nurturing a community that is socially responsible, morally upright, and spiritually mature. In moments such as this, we remain steadfast in promoting transparency, accountability, and respectful collaboration not only within our school but also in the broader social environment we serve.
We thank all of you for your trust, support, and continued belief in the excellence and integrity of our students, the institution and its mission.
