🎓 Today we attended R’s end-of-school-year ceremony, and it’s one we won’t forget.

Before coming to PATH, R spent years on the streets—doing whatever work he could find just to get through each day. School wasn’t even part of the picture for a long time.

And now, within just one year of being back in school, he’s become one of the most decorated students in the entire school. Multiple awards, honors, and recognition for his performance this year.

What made the day even more meaningful was that he was given the opportunity to share his testimony—how the Lord has been working in his life and leading him to this point.

That kind of change doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from showing up, putting in the work, and choosing a different path—but ultimately, we give all glory to God for the way He has worked in R’s life. He is the one who opens doors, changes hearts, and makes this kind of transformation possible.

We also want to say thank you to everyone who supports this ministry. Through your prayers and generosity, you are part of stories like this. You help create the space where young men like R can step out of survival and begin to build a future.

R, sobrang proud kami sa’yo. Kita namin yung effort at determinasyon mo. Ipagpatuloy mo lang ‘yan—nandito lang kami para sumuporta sa’yo sa bawat hakbang. 💙

🚸 PSA to all our local friends… we now have two new drivers on the road. Consider this your warning 😅

But in all seriousness, this is a big step for both of them. They’ve been really looking forward to this day for a while—putting in the time, practicing, and talking about it—and now it’s finally here.

Getting their student permits is another step toward independence, responsibility, and new opportunities ahead.

In our latest newsletter, we shared that we were raising support for one of the boys to complete his driving school—from classes all the way to obtaining his license. We’re really thankful to share that his expenses have already been mostly covered, and as of now, $150 out of the $200 has been raised.

We’re just $50 away from fully covering it.

Praise God—N’s school year is fully covered!

In our latest newsletter, we shared that we were raising support for N to attend a private school—an opportunity that will give him a stronger education and open up better opportunities moving forward.

We’re so thankful to share that his tuition is now fully funded, along with half of his driving school.

We’re still looking to raise the remaining $100 to complete his driving school.

🗣️ Our latest newsletter is out!

We’re finishing up the school year here and there’s been a lot to be thankful for—some great progress from the boys and a few important next steps ahead.

🏃🏽‍♂️‍➡️ On those rare days when everyone happens to be home—no school, no work—we try to make the most of it by getting up early and going for a jog together.

It’s a simple way to start the day, but it’s been good for all of us. Not just for our physical health, but also for the time we get to spend together—encouraging each other, pushing each other, and just being present.

I (Aaron) am really thankful for these kinds of moments. Life here can get busy, so when things slow down even a little, it’s good to take the time to care for the bodies God has given us and enjoy being together.

Nothing complicated—just showing up, putting in the effort, and taking it one step at a time 💪🏽

We recently had the privilege of attending N’s Moving Up Ceremony, where he officially completed Grade 10.

For those who may not be familiar, in the Philippines, students finish junior high school at Grade 10 and then move on to senior high (Grades 11 and 12). This ceremony marks that transition.

We’re really proud of N for sticking with it and putting in the work this year. We’ve seen him grow in his commitment to school and take his education more seriously over time, and this milestone reflects that.

N, we’re proud of you. Keep going. Stay focused, keep putting in the effort, and don’t lose sight of where you’re headed.

It was a joy to celebrate this moment, and we’re excited to see what this next season of senior high will look like for you.

At PATH, a lot of the most important lessons happen in everyday life.

Cooking meals, learning to use tools, fixing things, building things—these moments may seem small, but for the boys they’re meaningful steps toward independence.

They’re learning skills that will help them establish their own lives in the future and give them the confidence to take responsibility for themselves.

Little by little, these everyday moments are helping shape the men they’re becoming.

PATH Update: N

N is our community scholar who has recently transitioned into the home to receive more consistent, day-to-day support. Since moving in, he has continued his studies, maintained good grades, and shown steady growth in responsibility and maturity.

We’re thankful for the progress we’re seeing and for the way N has become a positive addition to the home. Please keep him in your prayers as he continues this season of learning and growth.

PATH Update: J

J has taken an important step toward independence. After enrolling in Grade 11, he has moved into a bed space close to his school, allowing him to focus on his studies while learning how to manage daily responsibilities on his own.

One of our goals at PATH is to help young men move toward independence in a healthy and supported way. PATH will continue walking alongside J remotely as he completes the 2025–2026 school year and prepares for 2026–2027.

J’s current monthly needs are:
School tuition – $50
Bed space rent – $60
Food & scholarship allowance – $80

We ask that you prayerfully consider coming alongside J during this season as he works toward independence and continues his education.

PATH Update: W

After reconnecting with family late last year, W has transitioned into independent living just a few houses away from relatives who can support him closely. When family relationships are safe and possible, we believe strengthening those bonds is often the best path forward.

We’re thankful that W has the opportunity to pursue independence while rebuilding family connections that provide stability and accountability.

PATH is covering W’s bed space rent for the next three months at $60/month as he adjusts to this new season.

R has recently returned to PATH after time outside the home. He’s come back with a renewed perspective and a desire to make better choices moving forward.

We’re thankful for this opportunity and are praying for continued growth, integrity, and consistency in this season.
