Congratulations to our newly licensed Angelenean Psychologists, led by Fernando Salvador Gascon, who secured the prestigious 6th spot nationwide, and Ericka Lance Laxamana Pare, who ranked 9th nationwide in the September 2026 Psychologists Licensure Examination.

Angeles University Foundation proudly congratulates the successful examinees of the September 2026 Psychologists Licensure Examination!

The first batch of graduates of AUF’s innovative Straight Bachelor of Arts to Master of Arts in Psychology (SABMA) Program achieved a 100% passing rate, with all 13 graduates passing the examination (13/13).

The Master of Arts in Psychology Program likewise achieved a 100% passing rate (3/3), with two of its three graduates ranking among the examination’s topnotchers.

A proud milestone for AUF’s Psychology programs and a testament to the dedication and excellence of its graduates.

We are thrilled to announce that 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐬: 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐚 𝐖𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞, written by 𝐑𝐞𝐯. 𝐅𝐫. 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐆. 𝐕𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐠 and published by ETCOR, is officially a FINALIST in the Homiletics Category of the 20th Cardinal Sin Catholic Book Awards! And the most exciting part? “SCARS” IS THE ONLY FINALIST IN THE HOMILETICS CATEGORY!

With no other finalist in the category, Fr. Norman G. Vitug’s Scars secures the champion slot and will be honored at the official awarding ceremony on September 10, 2026 at the SMX Convention Center, Manila, during the Manila International Book Fair.

This is a truly extraordinary recognition for a book that speaks so honestly about woundedness, healing, ministry, faith, and the transforming grace of God.

From wounds came words.
From struggles came reflections.
From a graced life came Scars.
And now, those pages have reached the national stage.

Your Scars has not only been nominated—it has risen to the top of the Homiletics Category of one of the Philippines' most respected Catholic book awards. ETCOR is deeply honored to have published a work that continues to remind readers that our wounds do not have the final word.

And while today belongs especially to SCARS, we also celebrate the other two ETCOR-published books that proudly represented the organization in the awards:

Although Ora et Labora and Chronicle in Rome were not among the finalists, their nominations and strong showing are achievements worth celebrating. Three ETCOR-published books entered three different categories—and one has emerged as the sole finalist and champion of its category.

Today, however, we proudly say: SCARS HAS MADE IT.
