There will be days when getting out of bed feels a little harder, when the smile takes a little more effort, or when you just wish someone would notice that you’re not doing as well as you say you are.

If that day comes, we hope you remember this: you are more than the things you are struggling with right now. You are more than one difficult semester, one painful goodbye, one disappointing grade, one mistake, or one night that feels like it will never end.

And if someone you love is having that kind of day, stay a little longer. Ask how they really are. Listen without rushing to fix everything. Sometimes, knowing that someone cares enough to sit beside us through the difficult moments can make the world feel a little less heavy.

This Su***de Prevention Month, let’s create a community where every Angelenean can be honest about not being okay, where reaching out is met with kindness, and where no one feels like they have to face their darkest moments by themselves.

Pursuant to Malacañang Memorandum Circular No. 135, as reiterated by the Angeles City government, please be advised of the following:

PRE-SCHOOL TO SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL
Synchronous Online Learning

SHS Examinations shall continue once face-to-face classes resume.

COLLEGES
Synchronous Online Learning
*Internships shall continue as scheduled, subject to the applicable policies, guidelines, and operational arrangements of the respective industry partners and affiliated institutions.

SCHOOL OF LAW, SCHOOL OF MEDICINE, GRADUATE SCHOOL
Synchronous Online Learning

SOM Examinations shall continue once face-to-face classes resume.

CAMPUS OPERATIONS
The AUF campus is CLOSED.

Alternative work arrangements shall be implemented, as applicable. Essential personnel whose presence is necessary to ensure the safety and security of the University premises and the continuity of critical operations may be required to report for duty, provided that they can travel safely and have coordinated with their immediate supervisors. Such reporting shall remain subject to prevailing weather, road, and other safety conditions, with the safety and well-being of employees given utmost priority

Today, we celebrate her beginning.

Before the world came to know her as the Blessed Virgin Mary, she was first a daughter whose life had only just begun. And on this day, we remember the beginning of the woman whose name would be carried through centuries with love, reverence, and devotion.

There is something especially beautiful about celebrating a beginning. Long before a life becomes a story remembered by generations, it begins quietly, simply, and tenderly. Mary’s Nativity invites us to pause and honor not only who she would become, but the beautiful life that began on this day.

Through the centuries, Mary has remained a symbol of tenderness and strength, humility and courage, and a love so deeply rooted that her presence continues to bring comfort to countless hearts. There is a quiet power in the way she is remembered, not because she sought to be seen, but because the grace of her life became impossible to forget.

This September 8, we celebrate the birth of Mary. We celebrate her life, her strength, her gentleness, and the woman whose story continues to live in the hearts of those who love her.

Happy Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary! Today is the celebration of her first breath, her first beginning, and the beautiful life that would leave an everlasting mark on the world. 🤍

In consideration of our students and personnel affected by the recent flooding and heavy rains, Angeles University Foundation will implement the following arrangements on Thursday and Friday:

ACADEMIC ARRANGEMENTS
Pre-School to College
Synchronous Online Learning

School of Law, School of Medicine, Graduate School
Alternative Learning Modality, as determined by the respective academic units. SOM examinations will be rescheduled.

CAMPUS OPERATIONS
The AUF campus will be OPEN.

Onsite operations will be observed on September 3-4, 2026. Employees are exempted from wearing the prescribed uniform, provided, they will wear their IDs at all time.

Employees affected by heavy rain and flooding may be allowed to transition to Work-from-Home (WFH) arrangements, where applicable. WFH approval is contingent on the nature of the employee's duties and requires prior coordination with and approval from their immediate supervisor.

EMERGENCY ACCOMMODATIONS
The AUF Hostel remains open for employees whose homes are submerged or severely impacted by floodwaters.

Affected staff may coordinate directly with their department heads to request placement.

HEALTH SERVICES
The Guidance and Counseling Center (GCC) is open for online consultation to those who may need it.

Asynchronous Online Learning

School of Law, School of Medicine, Graduate School
Alternative Learning Modality, as determined by the respective academic units. SOM examinations will be rescheduled.

CAMPUS OPERATIONS
The AUF campus will be CLOSED.

WORK MODALITY
Offices and units will shift to WFH, as applicable. Reporting is limited to personnel critical for campus security and essential operations. On-site reporting remains subject to road safety, prevailing weather conditions, and prior coordination with immediate supervisors.

EMERGENCY ACCOMMODATIONS
The AUF Hostel remains open for employees whose homes are submerged or severely impacted by floodwaters. Affected staff may coordinate directly with their department heads to request placement.

HEALTH SERVICES
The University Health Services, in coordination with the College of Allied Medical Professions (CAMP), will conduct an online information session today at 3:00 PM via Google Meet for students and faculty exposed to floodwaters regarding Leptospirosis prophylaxis and Doxycycline usage.

A telemedicine consultation (group call) is also available for students and employees.

The Guidance and Counseling Center (GCC) is likewise open for assistance to those who may need it.
