The Systems Plus College Foundation has officially adjusted its collegiate calendar to make way for the College Days celebrations of each department, the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA) announced.
Under the revised schedule, final examinations will be held from November 5 to 8, to be followed by the enrollment period for the second semester from November 10 to 21. Second-semester classes will officially begin on November 24.
According to Dr. Carlito S. Antonio, Vice President for Academic Affairs, the adjustment was made to accommodate the much-anticipated departmental festivities, which initially overlapped with the original examination week.
โItโs just the same as the original schedule,โ Dr. Antonio assured, emphasizing that the revised timeline remains sufficient for students to complete their enrollment right after the examinations.
The change also provides key officesโsuch as the Registrar and Accounting departmentsโample time to prepare for enrollment and other academic operations. โThe more they were given time to prepare, the more they will be ready,โ Dr. Antonio added.
He further confirmed that the November 24 opening of second-semester classes is final, though enrollment will remain open until mid-December to accommodate students who may not enroll immediately.
Dr. Antonio also reminded students to secure their examination permits early and settle financial obligations ahead of finals week to avoid congestion in the accounting office.
The administration assures that the adjustment will not affect the academic flow and aims to provide students and faculty sufficient time to prepare for the upcoming semester.
