Here's why sign language should be advocated for, in the words of Ms. Sweet Marvelous Rafinian, RPm, RPsy, and RSLI.

The human spirit is built on passion.

Passion for our culture, for our neighbors, for our words, for the human spirit. How we choose to promote the human spirit is in our hands, which is why we need to overcome a roadblock inhibiting us from united understanding.

So, through ๐™บ๐šŠ๐š•๐šŠ๐š๐šŠ๐šœ: ๐™ฐ ๐š‚๐š’๐š๐š— ๐™ป๐šŠ๐š—๐š๐šž๐šŠ๐š๐šŽ ๐™ฐ๐š ๐šŠ๐š›๐šŽ๐š—๐šŽ๐šœ๐šœ ๐™ฒ๐šŠ๐š–๐š™๐šŠ๐š’๐š๐š—, we encourage you to use your hands to build bridges and connect with our neighbors by communicating what it truly means to be a helping hand.

We, at the College of Arts and Sciences Honor Society, believe that connecting with our heritage ๐›๐ž๐ฒ๐จ๐ง๐ ๐ฏ๐จ๐œ๐š๐ฅ ๐›๐จ๐ซ๐๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ ๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ ๐›๐ž ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ฒ๐ž๐š๐ซ ๐ฅ๐จ๐ง๐ .

Did you know that it took American Sign Language two whole centuries to form? Over time, it adopted local village signs with the already established French Sign Language.

Actions speak louder than words, and we must take action for our culture. With the help of the Biological Sciences Society, members and volunteers of the CAS Honor Society ๐—ถ๐—บ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฑ ๐—ฝ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐˜€๐—ถ๐˜๐—ผ๐—น๐—ผ๐—ด๐˜† ๐—ฎ๐˜„๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€ through ๐˜ด๐˜ฆ๐˜ฎ๐˜ช๐˜ฏ๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜ด with the students of Marisol Bliss. The organization also handed out informative ๐˜ฃ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฌ๐˜ญ๐˜ฆ๐˜ต๐˜ด on the prevention and battle against parasites. ๐Ÿ“–

AUF Course, snacks and refreshments were also provided for everyone during the intellectual discussions. ๐Ÿน
