The College Student Council – School of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CSC-SHTM) announces that it has received an “Unqualified Opinion” rating for the First Semester of Academic Year 2025–2026, following a comprehensive financial audit conducted by the HAU Student Government – Commission on Financial Audit (CFA).

The audit was led by the Councilor for Finance, Raphael Jaime, in coordination with the entire CSC-SHTM, with the guidance and review of the council’s advisers . This reflects the council’s collective commitment to maintaining accurate, transparent, and accountable financial practices throughout the semester.

An “Unqualified Opinion” represents the highest level of assurance in auditing, indicating that the organization’s financial statements present a true and fair view of its financial position. The Commission on Financial Audit confirmed that the CSC-SHTM’s Statement of Cash Receipts and Disbursements for the First Semester complies with the established policies, guidelines, and accounting principles governing the proper management of organizational funds.

The results of the audit highlight the council’s consistent adherence to transparency, proper documentation, and responsible financial stewardship—ensuring that all funds are managed in accordance with institutional standards.

In conclusion, the CSC-SHTM remains committed to promoting transparency, accountability, and consistency in all its financial operations. The council will continue to uphold these standards in serving the student body with integrity and responsibility.

On 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the College Student Council – School of Hospitality and Tourism Management (CSC-SHTM) conducted its fourth general meeting for the semester via Google Meet.

The session focused on completing remaining second semester tasks, alongside planning for the final press conference. In addition, important announcements were delivered in light of current global events that impact classes and scheduled events, emphasizing the importance of staying open-minded and adaptable to changes.

The meeting also served as a reflective moment for the council. As this marked their last general meeting together, councilors shared memories, experiences, and insights gained throughout their term. The atmosphere was filled with both nostalgia and pride, recognizing the collective efforts and achievements of the CSC-SHTM team.

The session concluded with a sense of anticipation and optimism, as the current council prepares to pass on their roles to the newly elected leaders who will continue SHTM mission in the upcoming academic year.
