The School of Engineering and Architecture (SEA) congratulates the Civil Engineering (CE) Department and students for their exemplary performance at SySQuiz 2026. Jerome F. Vasquez, Jerico C. Sanchez, and Charles Russel M. Ramos, under the guidance of Engr. Michael John O. Septimo and the support of the CE faculty, headed by Engr. Franco Ian R. De Guzman secured 1st Runner-Up in the Design and Build Competition (Torsion Resisting Space Frame) held last March 27, 2026. This achievement reflects the CE students' technical competence, teamwork, and dedication to excellence.

SEA likewise commends the Structural Quiz participants: Adonis A. Cayanan, who advanced to the Semi-Finals, and Eunice Anne O. Caisip, whose participation demonstrates commendable commitment and perseverance.

SySQuiz 2026 is a national structural engineering competition for undergraduate students that fosters healthy competition among aspiring engineers. These accomplishments highlight the high standards of academic and professional excellence upheld by the CE departmment and students.
