💧Update: BOD Meeting with Hiraya Water Corporation Angeles City

Good day, Neighbors! MGAHOA would like to share the key points from the Board of Directors (BOD) meeting with Hiraya Water Corporation (formerly Primewater), held on October 16, 2026, regarding the water concerns in our community.

🔧 Recent Water Pressure Concerns
The problem was caused by a totally damaged motor pump at Station 1 (Phase 1/Gate 1 Gazebo Park). Hiraya crews have been working on it since 12:30 AM Friday, retrieving and replacing the pump motor that fell into the 250-meter-deep pit and rehabilitating the pipes. Work is now at the pipelaying stage, and we will share updates as they come. Once Station 1 is complete, the water tank will be fully utilized again and water pressure should return to normal.

⚡ Water Interruption During Power Outages
When the power goes out, the motor pumps shut down. After power is restored, it takes about 2 hours for water to return because Hiraya has to restart the pumps manually. The MGAHOA requested an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) with generators at every pumping station. Hiraya agreed this is doable and asked for about a week to study it. We expect their feedback on October 23, and we hope installation can begin soon after. Once installed, water interruptions during brownouts should be minimized.

🚰 Pipeline Rehabilitation Program
The proposed rehabilitation of the pipelines at Metrogate Angeles has been approved by Hiraya’s top management and is now at the bidding stage. MGAHOA is looking forward to its implementation by the 2nd quarter of 2027.

🏗️ Additional Water Tanks and Pump Stations
The MGAHOA and Hiraya are aligned on this idea. We will identify possible locations, in coordination with Moldex.

📌 Good to Know
No need to stock up on buckets for now. A follow-up community meeting will be called by the MGAHOA and Phase Representatives. If you have questions or suggestions, we encourage you to attend and share your input.

POWER SERVICE ADVISORY

To All AEC Customers:

Please be advised that the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) will conduct technical activities along the Mexico–Angeles 69kV Line 1 on Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

AEC will utilize Line 2 to maintain power delivery during this period.

We may still experience momentary power interruptions between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM due to necessary switching operations.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
